Came for a fish fry. Line was out the door. I got in line for take out and there were 6 people in front of me. The line took awhile, but the food came out fast.Baked cod was tasty. Baked potato was good, but didn't come with sour cream. Some non fish options too.

Great find! This is the bar restaurant at the Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center in Olmsted Falls. Our party of 7 (including 2 kids) sat outside on one of two large patios surrounded by mature trees and overlooking a pond with fountain, playground, soccer fields and tennis courts. They have a large variety of German beers on tap and in bottles/cans. The menu is hearty with lots of eastern euro faves like pierogies, potato pancakes, & paprikash tho there were some nice sounding salads as well! Then, there's the schnitzel, which gets its own menu! Rotating selection of creative schnitzel sandwiches + always available schnitzel entrees of either veal, pork, or chicken. The breading is a bit heavy but the meat is moist & flavorful. The sauerkraut balls were meaty as well and the entrees were well priced at only $17 (served with spaetzel & kraut) which included soup or salad! A relative bargain. Someone in our party also got the Reuben sandwich which included well marbled corned beef on grilled bread--yum! Great spot if you've got littles as the playground is 10' away and there's acres of fields for running! Highly recommend for some summer dining under the trees!

Awesome meal this past evening with my wife. Pierogis are amazing. The pork chop is in another world. Apples onions and mashed potato's wow for a night at 16 degrees. Beer selection amazing and the wait staff a bit understaffed was awesome. Go with the potato soup it's amazing.

What a delicious meal at the Donauschwaben! I may be a teeny bit biased since this is where we got married in 2005 and because I'm 11% German, so please take this review for what you will. They prefer you to enter on the side of the building (facing the pond and fountain) but you can also access Prost from the main entrance facing the parking lot. They have bar seating, a corner booth, a few high tops and other four-tops. Our server, Noelle, explained that she was still in training and was not shy about asking questions when she didn't know. I appreciated her modesty and honesty. We started with the pretzel with bier cheese and obatzda (described as a classic Biergarten cheese spread). The pretzel was hot and soft, and the bier cheese had a nice tang to it. I loved the obatzda but hubby did not - not really his thing. We each got a house salad with Oma's dressing with our dinner. The dinner was oil and vinegar based and was sweet and sour. For my entree I had the käse spätzle which is spätzle (dumplings) with cheese and sautéed onions. Most German/ Bavarian food is stick-to-your-ribs and this dish was no exception. The spätzle was tender and I loved the onions with it. My husband had the pork schnitzel (thin-pounded pork cutlet that's then breaded and fried) with a side of spätzle and sauerkraut. He offered me a bite of everything and it was all very enjoyable and authentic. The decor inside reminds you of Germany - antlers on the wall and old-looking frescos reminiscent of the German countryside. The beer is cold and the staff is friendly. I hope you go snd I hope you enjoy your meal as much as we did. Prost!

The food is good if they're ever open to get some. Four times in the last three months they were closed when I went there during they're regular business hours. I'll never waste my time again.

We've been ordering dinner from Prost almost every week since they opened for take-out. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. We're ethnic Germans so we're picky about our Schnitzel, Paprikash, Goulasch, sausages, and more. We highly recommend ordering from them. They have a varied and extensive menu and offer a weekly special. Check out their upcoming Christmas and New Year's menus, too!

What a great Sunday lunch! We've missed being able to enjoy their fabulous food since Covid hit, so we were thrilled to be able to enjoy to-go lunch today! We had the veal schnitzel meal & this month's special: pork shank with dumplings. OMGoodness...both were so good. Can't wait to go back! (I was a little nervous knowing chef was new but Erik is doing a great job!).
