Seeing that the last (& only) review for this place was in '08, it's time for an update. We traveled to Canton from out of town to see family and unsuccessfully tried to get into the Brownstone due to a special event. Primo's was nearby and open, so we decided to give it a shot based on the previous review. Unfortunately, I don't think this is the same restaurant as it was 3 years ago. It feels more like a bar trying to pass as a restaurant. Food was mixed but ok. Pork chops were dry, cheese ravioli was fine, salad and sausage & pepper sub were good. Calamari appetizer was actually good (light on breading, good on flavor). French fries here are huge but tasty. Price wasn't too bad, but not a value.Service and staff were nice and accommodating, but the food timing seemed a little slow (especially considering we were the only patrons at the time). Not sure we'd return a second time so we could try something else in the area... unless we were in a sub/sandwich or calamari mood.

This is truly an awsome restaurant, unbeleivable food and drinks. Prices are great and the customer service is second to none. If your visiting in Canton, or live in the area, you should stop by.

Great food. I can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants in the Canton area. It's refreshing to see good restaurants outside of the Belden Village area (AKA chain restaurant hell). My Dad had the salmon, my stepmom had the scallops, my best friend had the chicken and cheese ravioli and I had the chicken parmesan. All were very good. The only thing I would change about this place is the decor. It's dated. They have a respectable wine list.

Food is okay, the rigatoni was decent but bland. Atmosphere was that of a sterile bar, featuring the music of a local pop radio station. Blech.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here in 2007. The service is beyond compare. The manager that I worked with was patient and very helpful in the planning process. The servers that we had at the meal were just beyond amazing. The group of us (~35 people) were seated in upstairs banquet area of the restaurant. We had our own bar and bartender, which was very helpful. As I remember, the food was great, too!

Maybe service is better on other nights than First Friday, but I was very disappointed with this place. My friend and I weren't greeted when we arrived just after 6:15, so we stood there for about 3-5 minutes and then started wandering and asked if we should seat ourselves. The girl (the missing hostess, I believe) told us that was fine, so we took a seat on the second floor and were ignored for at least 10 minutes. Finally we were addressed by a woman who was "just there to help out her friend" - she was inattentive, slow, and unfamiliar with the menu. The menu was a special one for First Friday - very small; not a lot of options. Our drinks and food took forever to come out - and when the sandwiches finally arrived (meatball sub for my friend, sausage and peppers for me), we were very happy with the food itself. Two stars for the food, one for service. I wouldn't go back.
