Prime Vine Winery

California wine with California prices. The wine is excellent. I did a tasting of 3 wines for around $20. Way overpriced in my opinion but the wine WAS excellent. They have some sweeter stuff but do very well with a wide variety of the dry stuff. The merlot is excellent. Beautiful grounds! Lots of cocktail options as well. All wines are from Napa area, so you can be sure they're good! They grow grapes and make wine from their grapes, but the estate wine is not for sale, for some reason. Overall, worth a visit but pricey!

Excellent wine and very knowledgeable staff ..... I loved his knowledge of the grapes, the wine, and the vineyards. We bought 6 bottles to go home with us after our tasting. One of our favorite wines ....... as a dry red lover this wine beats all other Ohio wineries.

We discovered Prime Vine through a boondockers site, Harvest Hosts, and what a rare find! A recently renovated century-old estate turned winery and event center. The manager, John, greeted us warmly and the owner, Jim, was an amazing host, sharing his story with us. We stayed on the property for a few days to unwind after a couple of long weeks in the RV. What a beautiful property! 16 acres of woods, beautiful grounds, gardens and a pond with geese and other wildlife. While we were here, there was a wedding, a class reunion and an event with a live singer. The wines are all delicious, we sampled most.
