Plum Market

For me, the draw of Plum Market is the location, as it's right down the street from my office and we pop in regularly for candy or drinks. We like the coffee counter, which is fairly quiet during the day and actually has better hours than the nearby Starbucks. Groceries are expensive - Soy milk is double the price at Heinans or Target, however, I will occasionally pick something up to save myself a trip and get some extra steps in during the day. I haven't purchased their hot lunch, but it's quite popular with some of my office mates. They do have a nicely priced wine selection and have curated the occasional order for our office as well.

Convenient market located in University Circle. They provided validated parking if you're not a student walking for their grocery run. The bad news: The groceries here are way too expensive. The prices rival whole paycheck, aka whole foods. The products on the shelf are similar too. But I am not sure if Case students, which plum market probably targeted, would have the funds to shop at Plum market on even a semi-regular basis.

Half gallon of soy milk is $6.79 here yet $3.50 at nearby Dave's. Everything at Plum is sadly outrageously overpriced.

Great location, high quality products, lackluster and often unfriendly service. I don't mind high prices but I do mind management/employees who are rude and unwelcoming--consistently. I have even observed how closely only "some" people are watched. If the Heinen's downtown had better parking, I would go there in a heartbeat.

Higher end grocery market. There are many vegan, organic, and gluten free grocery options available. They had multiple gluten free ciders and hard seltzer's but I didn't notice any gluten free beers. Wine selection is good. They had fresh cooked hot food as well as refrigerated to-go options such as sushi, salad and sandwiches. I decided to try some new to me items. I picked up some vegan and gluten free jerky, mushroom jerky, an herb infused root beer, petitpot french puddings, some freshly cooked mustard and maple salmon, as well as a watermelon juice. All were tasty. Higher prices.

For such an expensive store, they really have little products to offer. This isn't a grocery store or a convenience store, it's a sorry excuse for either one. They capitalize on university students with their monopoly on location and high prices. I checked out of self checkout today with one item. As I was walking out of the store, an old woman behind the counter yelled at me and demanded I show her my receipt for my one item, which I did. I understand wanting to prevent theft but she watched me check out as I was the only person checking out. I left feeling astonished at being yelled at by the employee and very disrespected. I never leave reviews but this just solidifies the fact that I won't ever shop here again.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Never had more rude emplyees who acted like my order was such an issue. My kids asked for chicken tenders and I got a veggie burger. There was one order in front of us and was told over and over it would be a long wait. The kiosk did not work and the worker did not ask what I wanted on my burger I had to ask over and over and was never answered so I said "I guess can I get everything?" And was told they had no sauces. This was 2pm on a Monday so the lunch rush was long over. Do not ever go here. We cancelled and left.

First off, let me say I never write reviews, but I had to because of the amazing customer service of Sandy!!! She works back in the kitchen and we were looking at the food they prepare and it looked amazing especially the Mac and cheese. She gave us a sample without us asking, so we could try it. Some of the best mac & cheese I've ever had!! It wasn't because of the free sample I felt impelled to write this I was just so impressed with her friendliness and smile and excellent customer service. The store is clean and lots of excellent choices of prepared food and food on sight. Thank you Sandy for being you!!!

Great place to pick up a quick and healthy meal. They have a great lunch menu, but if you get there after 1:30 like did, you can still get a sandwich or burger made fresh and pick up a pre-made salad. I recommend the grilled chicken on a pretzel bun with the kale salad. The stuff was great and super helpful as well!

Not often in this neighborhood, but when I am I always stop here. Nice outside seating, friendly staff and excellent selection of healthy groceries and snacks. Always has been very clean and well lighted.
