Plaza Nueva Mexican Grill

Ohhhh, I really enjoyed my experience here. I came in alone and decided to sit at the bar. The servers were super friendly, the food was delicious, and the drink was strong. All great things! I ordered the three meat fajitas (I can't remember what the name is on the menu) with steak, chicken, and shrimp. It came out very fast and was absolutely perfect. Everything was perfectly flavored and the meal was a lot of food. For a cocktail, fajitas, and side of queso, I paid around $45 but ended up having enough leftovers for another meal. I really enjoyed the food here and am already looking forward to going back and trying some burritos or enchiladas.

I want to give a shout out to the amazing wait staff and cooks! Also to the couple that paid it forward! Thank you so much! It was very much appreciated. My friend was having a bad day so we ordered a pitcher of margaritas and some tacos to share. When it came time to pay the waitress told us the couple that had been sitting a few tables down from us paid for our tab! They made our night and restored faith in humanity! Thank you again!

Stopped by Plaza Nueva with my family on our weekly restaurant visit. We were immediately seated and our drink orders were promptly taken. I requested a Modelo Negro. My wife always requests caso blanco, which goes good with nachos. For dinner, I ordered Pollo Azteca, which is a char broiled chicken breast, sautéed shrimp, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and a special cream sauce. The food took longer than most Mexican restaurants to deliver, but there were six of us after all. My Pollo Azteca was excellent. I love dishes like these. It's like a burrito, but you get more of the good stuff and no tortilla. It is served with warm flour tortillas wrapped in foil, but I don't use them anymore.The food and service were very good.

Love coming here! The lunch specials are incredibly affordable and have good selections.

Not as good as it used to be. Food tastes like mush and grease. Found a hair in queso, which never makes me want to go back again.

Wow, excellent food and service .This place is great I had a large burrito with chicken and shrimp. I also had a Mexican pizza with chicken, but I couldn't finish it. Decor more on the plain side ,clean establishment . The prices are nice as well ,everything reasonably priced . The quantity is great ,not skimpy on the portions. Check em out right in Biddulph plaza.

I've eaten here 4xs since my initial review. I like it. I get the super burrito. The place is clean and quiet. No complaints with the service. They surprised me once by putting my jalapeno order into my burrito. Wherever I go 1/2 the time I do not get my order of peppers. I was there 2 weeks ago & I'm going tonight.

Drinks are always so good and the food is out of this world with so many choices and your plate is well full. The price is very affordable for the amount of food you good plus really good services! They also have some of the best French fries andQueso ever! Ambiance is great we always sit at the bar or a booth.

Plaza Nueva is our 'Go To' Mexican restaurant for a 'food fix'! Service is alwayssssss friendly (I am stymied by the one 'bad waitress' comment. Huh? Maybe the writer was having a bad day?). Moving on ...Our absolute favorite dishes here are (in no particular order): a 'Fajita Burrito', the 'Lime Chicken', the 'Pollo Primavera', the 'Pollo Jalapeno', the #2 (3 chicken enchiladas) on the Combination dishes ... and their 'Chicken Fajitas' ... ooohhhhh they are good. So many fajitas (at other Mexican restaurants) come to the table where the pieces of meat are all curled up, and many times are bland. Plaza Nueva's chicken fajitas come in nice grilled strips and seasoned perfectly). SO GOOD!On the Appetizer menu we love the 'Taquitos' and the 'Jalapeno Botanas', and the wife loves the 'Chimi Cheesecake' and 'Flan' for dessert.We appreciate all the smiling faces we see when we are there, and also the cook(s).
