Plank Road Tavern

In for World Cup game this past week with friends. Not sure if they are usually open for soccer. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food took a bit of time and was decent but average. Beer was cold and tv's aplenty.

Plank road is a typical lakewood bar. Affordable beers and cocktails and friendly bartenders. Their wings are a step above the other bars in the area. Personally, plank road is my go-to wing spot in Lakewood.

This is a great place to go! The food is very good, both appetizers/snacks and food. The staff is very kind and outgoing. Have always had great service and awesome staff! It's a must go to hole in the wall/local bar to go too.

Great local bar. The owners are so nice and also bartend. The back patio is HUGE! The food is great as well. And if you like mixed drinks they definitely give you a strong pour! We love stopping by late night on the weekends or for happy hour during the week.

A+ Bar food in Lakewood. The burger was amazing! Exactly the way I asked for it to be cooked too. This is no scrawny little patty either. The dry rub chicken wings were freakin amazing,so were the hand cut french fries. The staff was super friendly, they had my order done in 15 min. For the same price as a trip to Five Guys, I got a better tasting, big fat cheeseburger, better french fries, and an order of AMAZING chicken wings, same price. Go support your local businesses. Great service, really cool people, freakin amazing food in Lakewood.Dont drive past this common appearing Lakewood bar. It is easy to miss from the road but you need to go eat their food, now.

Great little bar with good service and food. We enjoyed our wings and fries. We'll definitely come back to try more food and drinks. This first visit was a short one as we were bar hopping down detroit road.

Welp, Yelp. I called here as I strolled near. They claimed "best tots round here."They were right! I found a barkeep with a name so dear....Nicholas Joseph, don't you fear! The beer selection was okay, but they didn't have my favorite rosé. The tots were most likely frozen, but it was a place we had already chosen. Thanks to Nick we kept on rollin.

Read the menu online and decided to go in for happy hour - 1/2 off wings and $1 off all drinks. The place was empty when we got there. We sat at the bar and looked at the menu to decide what we wanted. The in-restaurant menu makes note that the 1/2 off wings are only Friday. The online menu does not make any mention of that. So their happy menu most of the time is justs $1 off drinks which is not a big deal.I ordered my drink while we looked at the menu and then we ordered a salad, wings, and a buffalo chicken flatbread - $5 special. My drink never came. I had to ask someone else after the food arrived for my drink.The food was okay and the flatbread tasted too bready. We weren't really content with our food and ended up coming home early. Also, the bill didn't reflect the $1 off my drink.

I can't rank this place except for drinks. Ummmmm....it was good. No food except pizza

We went to Planks and our very polite and very sober Black male friend was blatantly discriminated against. He sat at the bar for nearly 30 minutes without service. Once he was served, he ordered three beverages at once to not have to sit at the bar and be blatantly ignored any further during our two hour stay there. He also ordered food. When the server brought us our food, our friend asked for a side of ranch. The server told him it would be $1 extra, which he agreed to without hesitation. The server brought the ranch back to him, stuck his hand out to him, and asked for ONE DOLLAR immediately, rather than adding to any of our open tabs. Our friend gave him the dollar and tipped him an extra dollar as well. The manner that he asked in and the way he stuck out his hand to our friend was clearly indicative of thinking he wasn't going to pay and/or was trying to get out of paying the ONE dollar that he agreed to pay. No other individuals at our table of ELEVEN (11) were treated this way at all, besides our Black friend. It should be added that our friend did not complain once and was nothing more than polite, patient, and compliant, despite the clear mistreatment. The blatant racism was disgusting and we will absolutely not return to this establishment or ever support them again. So sad to see! Awful awful service and experience. I am leaving ZERO stars and urge others to be educated in the establishments they're supporting and the way they treat POLITE, PAYING customers.
