I've been going here for years. I used to work near by. I haven't been in a bit and was considering going up tonight for some take out. The chicken salad is delicious but after looking at these prices I'm going to cook at home. A large chicken salad used to be under $10 and it's now $15! Extra dressing is now a $1 and that used to be 50¢. Mind you if you ate in you could eat all you wanted. $15 for probably less than a have of a grilled chicken breast and basic iceberg lettuce, cheese and a few cherry tomatoes is a crime! We as a society should start taking a stance with all of the price gouging that we are experiencing on a daily basis! When people stop buying then maybe these places will take the hint to LOWER their prices and know that people are no longer just blindly going to plop their credit down card without thought of what they're paying for. LOWER YOUR PRICES. Ridiculous!!

Okay, so, the initial walk in, I wasn't impressed, because there was a sewer smell, but for pizza order and pickup it, looks great. I looked over the menu before hand, so, I was hoping for a small bar, but none, which was okay, they still make drinks and cocktails and have bottles of wine for sale. I decided to dine in to get a full experience. I ordered the aranccini, it was amazing, seriously, I received a house salad, cause I ordered and entree, it was meh, typical. Then I ordered the stuffed Gnocchi with an abruzzi sauce, red pepper pink cream sauce, with two added homemade meatballs. It was okay. The meatballs could have more garlic and seasonings for sure but they were just okay, the gnocchi, well, I just left it on the table. Wasn't the best, but was pretty low standard. Oh I didn't get any bread, with my salad or appetizer, or for the entree, I mean no biggie, but usually at a pizza shop you get bread and butter. The server was very accommodating. I ordered a pizza to go. I ordered the thick crust with Rosie's sauce, spicy, add anchovies, extra povalone. I waited not long. Dined in to get pizza to go, when I went downstairs to the restroom, the mell intensified, the bathrooms were clean and really nice, seriously. Handicapped accessible, but at the bottom of the stairs, Bathrooms are a plus for me! And they are very nice. If it wasn't for the smell I would have gave them 4 stars. Also the pie was really good. They use actual sausage... but red or purple onion, in stead of white onion... didn't matter to me.... Just an fyi.

Three stars is generous. The staff earned it. Attentive and active. It's my first time here. I got a "thin " crust which I guess means they take their dough and spread it too thin and cook it too low and slow and serve you a saltine pizza. I was REALLY DISAPPOINTED. It's edible. The toppings were great but...,If you can at here call ahead and get a traditional pizza. Nice joint. They're just reaching with the thin crust.

Sadly NOT the same Pizzazz.I grew up going here weekly. I LOVED this place. I could never count the amount of meals that I've had here. Moved away in the 90s, somewhere years back I guess the family sold the restaurant. The pizza is hardly a glimmer of what it once was. Now it's all cheap cheese, barely any sauce and the new dough recipe tastes metallic and under cooked. The cheese is thick and almost unevenly cooked and the new sauce is really heavy on the onions. Those thick chunks were never in the old pizzas. It's kinda heartbreaking actually. There are so many young kids in the kitchen, it looks chaotic and I wonder where the quality control went. Several times the pizzas have been undercooked.Everyone is very kind and hospitable. I wonder if the University Circle location that is still owned by the original family is like the old Pizzazz pizza?

Nice dinner at Pizzazz. They have remodeled the dining area. Friendly and quick service. Good salad. The pizza was very good. Calzone was excellent. Very fresh. Spacing is a little tight in this place but once you get in and comfortable, enjoy the good food.

I placed a rather large lunch order for our company today and I have to say I was blown away with the staff. The order was ready right at the time it was due, food was hot and fresh, and the staff helped me load into my car. Everything included, I didn't have to worry about a thing when I got back to the office. We will be back! Thank you!

The only reason for a 2 is our server was pleasant and helpful. Both of our pizza's were cold, cheese not melted. Not at all tasty. Many other places with good pizza nearby.

I have been going here from the beginning and always loved it and now I just like it. The main reason for my low score is because the lack of toppings on the pizza. I get several types of pies and on everyone from just cheese or lack thereof are sparse. When you get one to maybe two slices of pepperoni on each piece that's not what I call a good amount. I can go on about the lack of cheese and toppings, but I think I made my point. This is not just one time, but I think it a standard practice. I don't mind paying more for something that is good, but this is no longer worth what they charge.

Food great, same with service, but there has always been a terrible sewer smell below that wafts upstairs. I've said something about it a couple of times. They know about it. If city problem, they need to get it fixed. I don't bring any friends or family here because the smell is so predominant.
