When I hear the question, "Where should we go to dinner?", out pops the immediate answer: "Pizzazz!!".Even when it's sub-zero temps, the casual, inviting restaurant serves up all the warmth necessary. Shannon was our friendly server who brought the eggplant parmigiana dinner with no wait. Delicious!!Pizzazz remains a popular eatery in Cleveland Heights, delighting customers since 1975. The substantial menu presents Italian fare and a variety of salads. Takeout does a hefty business, as does dine-in. You know I'll be back soon!

During my most recent visit to Cleveland for a family event of course we had Pizzazz. The parking lot makes it easy to come with family or stop by for take-out. Our family favorites to order to share are the pepperoni pizza, pepperoni calzone and their dinner salad. These are the go to items, but I've tried a lot of the menu at this point and they have so many options anyone can find something to love.If I'm enjoying something on my own I may get adventurous with the pizza toppings or go for their create your own pasta option. The Abruzzi sauce is really tasty and I love that they have so many pasta options, including gluten-free and zucchini noodles- personally I welcome the carbs though. My family has also used the downstairs space for events which is a nice option for catered events and it's a fun little space that even has a bar. Also, if you're a soup person, their Italian Wedding is very tasty too!

Nice location. Service is ok but not very attentive. Sadly the pizza is too sweet. Too much sugar in the dough. Too bad.

D not what I ordered. The food was greasy and the Gyro was hard. I threw it all that away.

It really deserves one star but I'll be nice. This was a "to-go" order but I don't have issues with the temperature. We ordered the calamari which immediately smelled really fishy. Not to my surprise, it was very rubbery and dry but had no taste at all. The chicken parm was bland but we found a stem looking object in it and not sure where it came from. There were no vegetables in it. Was it a bone? Still gross. To top it all off, while eating the meatballs, we felt something crunchy. Pulled out broken egg shells out of our mouth. By that time, we were done. Won't order or eat there again. I don't like to trash a business, but come on. Inspect your food. Taste your food before you send it out. Be better.

Calamari was hot. They forgot sauces it was supposed to come with and silverware but quickly gave these to me when I returned for them. It was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and not too hard or stale. Good calamari and total was about $14.

Our waitress went above and beyond by serving me a Coke in this Pepsi only location. However I had suspicions when the broiled Brussels sprouts were made with more than the balsamic vinegar that Cheesecake Factory uses, to their (cheesecake factory's) credit, but came with cranberries and swimming in rendered bacon grease. So plus one star for the cranberries, minus one for all the rendered lard. Sort of might explain why midwesterners have the reputation they do about being overweight. The goat cheese pesto pizza almost saved the day for this restaurant review though, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, as it were.It was hard for me to decide how this restaurant's name should be pronounced. Pizzas(?)

"Table of 8 please "-The look of disgust on the hostess's face was telling of how our dinner experience would be -The waitress was not much better -Not welcoming at all-Very matter of fact-With 3 grandkids under age 9 when water is ordered one would think to use plastic kids cups instead of full size adult glasses -It was Sunday November 17th about 1:15 pm-our family of 8 WERE TRULY AN INTERRUPTION to both the hostess and waitress's dayThe food was good but their attitudes were absent any measurable level of an enjoyable customer experience. This review was not made by the person paying the bill- if I was paying the tab, limited tip would be leftPerhaps we have made our LAST STOP AT PIZZAZZ

I love Pizza and some good Chicken Wings, but in the past few years, it has been hard to find a good place to order them. I have ordered from many places and have been unhappy with them. I was talking to a friend of mine, and I told him about the problem I was having finding a good Pizza place. He asked if I knew about a place called Pizzazz on the Circle. He told me it was by John Carroll University and that it had been there for years and was a great Italian restaurant and that they had great food. This Sunday I placed an order for a 12" LG Cholesterol Monster Pizza it comes with Pepperoni, Sausage, Salami, Ham, Meatballs & Provolone Cheese and I ordered 12 Buffalo Wings 6 of the Hot and 6 of the Hot BBQ ones. This was some of the best Pizza and Winds I have had in years and this will be my go-to place I can not wait to try some of their other items.
