Pier W

Decided to make a last minute reservation on a Saturday evening at 8:30pm, and had no problem finding a table! We were seated promptly and had a very attentive and friendly server who explained both the drink and dinner menus exceptionally well!I ordered the braised short rib pierogis for an appetizer and they were divine! I also ordered halibut dinner special, and my partner ordered the lobster pasta. Both arrived quickly, were hot, and full of some amazing flavors I never imagined would pair so well together! Overall, we had a romantic evening & will certainly be back.For a quick perspective: 2 cocktails, an appetizer and 2 entrees came to $152. Certainly on the pricy side, but well worth it! Valet was also available for $4, we didn't use it but will share its nice to have as an option!

It's been a couple years since we have enjoyed THE PIER W, but Man oh man, are we glad and happy to be back!Whatever you do, sit in the section of beautiful "Q", for Quianna. She is honest, fun, energetic and... wait for it... Genuine. Genuine. All day long. She knows the menu, appreciates your interest in her opinion and aims to please, which she does with 5 stars!The food is still outstanding and for the price, exemplary! We both enjoyed the huge Ceasar salad, bountiful Clam Chowder served hot and shrimp and green bean tempura! What's not to love ?Make this your next best place for seafood and cocktails !

Beautiful location w great view of the water in better weather. Server took care of our big group with ease. Small but decent cocktail menu. My drink was very sweet and unsure if it was alcoholic at all really but it's fine. The rare steak Diane I had was cooked to my liking and flavorful. The potatoes were perfectly roasted and some had a nice crispy char which I love. Bread service was the usual crusty rolls with regular butter. The lobster bisque was phenomenal! Super savory and super thick and smooth. Nice creamy highly flavorful soup with a little chunk of lobster on top along with a crostini. Live piano music was playing.

We were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the lake and the city skyline - so nice! We had the filet and fluke (flounder) and everything was delicious. I think our server's name was Melanie and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. We love this place for special occasions or just their happy hour! Such a wonderful place!

I dine at Pier W once in every couple of years and it's always a really good experience. The only downside I would say is the interior needs a renovation. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.Timing and food preparation is always top notch. Pier W has some of the best seafood in the city and you won't go away disappointed. Try out their Short Rib pierogies and lobster bisque as they are some of the best appetizers you may ever taste.

Great date night for a special occasion. My boyfriend and I booked a reservation here for his birthday. We had to wait a little bit past our reservation time (10 minutes) to be seated, but we think it was so that we could be seated along the window, so we didn't mind waiting. The view was gorgeous and overlooks the city in the distance. We ordered the oysters, a steak, and the grouper (which was on special). Everything was delicious.

Lovely dinner! Came on a Wednesday and it was very busy, but luckily we had a reservation. Pianist playing the entire time. Beautiful view of the lake and downtown. Fantastic wine list. Lots of N/A options including zero proof liquors that can be used to make cocktails and N/A wines. To start they bring out complimentary bread. We ordered the short rib pierogies which had lots of filling and the calamari that was so light and delicious. My entree was the Bouillabaisse and it was very flavorful. Perfect place for date night or special occasions

Enjoyed restaurant week at Pier W. The crab stuffed shrimp and mash potatoes were delicious and the desserts were amazing. The service was swift and helpful and ambiance is unmatched with views of lake erie.

What a fantastic dining experience. From the moment Joseph greeted us and seated us at a fantastic table, the pleasure was ours! Our server, Pam, was professional, friendly, and made our lunch seamless. We ordered both Lobster Bisque and clam chowder as our starters. Thankfully Pam gave us the choice of a cup or bowl. The cup of this luscious richness was enough to not spoil the mains. We ordered the swordfish salad, salmon on a plank, and a lobster roll. Each dish was perfection. A shared crème brûlée finished the meal. Every element was exceptional.I haven't mentioned the spectacular lake view! We visit Cleveland often (our son moved here from California) and Pier W has earned our love! We will return often! Reservations are recommended, and dress code is business casual. Thanks for the outstanding efforts!

How have I lived here my whole life without treating myself to dinner at Pier W??? Fabulous views of downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie, plus scrumptious food. We were fortunate to have Cora as our server. If there was ever a person who could make a living as a storyteller, it's her. She was so enthusiastic about the drinks, food choices - it was a delight just to be in her presence. The short ribs were delicious and so tender, no knife required.
