Stopped in for brunch- typical hometown diner. As you can see from the photos, they give Large portions!!!!!The restaurant was filled with lots of senior citizens- I think that is their main clientele. The salad bar looked clean and well stocked- we can't comment on the taste because we did not try it. The service was fine. Not very friendly, but not unfriendly. Even though the portions were large, the prices are good. So if you're ever in the area and you're looking for a breakfast or brunch spot, this place has pretty good food. I don't know about their dinners, so you'll have to find that out on your own!

This is a quaint diner in Perry in the same Plaza with IGA. I had breakfast here one Saturday morning and was surprised by the friendly service and the kind waitress who served us. The food came out quick and my eggs were cooked perfectly. I usually order fried eggs cooked over medium and toast. I would recommend this diner for breakfast.

This place is hit or miss! Sometimes I come in and get a great waitress, who is smiling and very friendly, other times I get the head waitress who is boning the owner, and she always has an attitude, is never smiling, and is very short with customers. I stopped coming here because of her and her attitude. Well, and the tables are always sticky and i always dirty when I leave. Bad vibes and so so foods. Maybe try a better place with better service, food, and a smile!

We used to eat here fairly often for breakfast with the kiddos pre-pandemic - however since Covid started we cannot justify it. This restaurant is old and dated with no one at to distance from people and that's if the parking lot wasn't packed (I get it Perry has like no businesses let alone food options) but good breakfast and strong coffee are not worth it to me. After all the craziness has died down sure I will head in for the cinnamon roll French toast or my hubby for their steak and eggs. The lunches were EH and I'm betting for health reasons/Covid the massive salad bar hasn't been in use but idk. Dinner the only thing we've ever ordered that was good was the pot roast everything else was not cravable sometimes in a pinch you just need a fast meal. Third star was because the staff is always nice especially to our kiddos and in the end kindness is what matters.

Nice place to grab breakfast. They have a large dining room area with plenty of booths and tables. In addition to their large menu, they offer breakfast through lunch hour. Enjoyed eggs, potatoes, and toast. Eggs were cooked perfectly with nice home fries and fresh toast. They keep your coffee full and check on you often. Very friendly waitresses. Can't wait to come back for soup and salad bar.

I would rate my breakfast here as average. Omelets (I ordered the Western), when cooked properly, should not have any brown on them and the kitchen was skimpy with the ingredients. Hashbrowns were cold. Rye toast was heavily buttered if you like that. The ham was sliced very thin like lunch meat not diced and there was very little of it. The service was good though. And the people eating their frosted cinnamon roll behind me seemed to be really enjoying it, I could feel every move they made through our shared back booth bench. A group of old men was loudly discussing politics and the travails of civilization near me, so that's the octogenarian crowd you can expect. And the Steelers helmet on the wall also made me question the intelligence of the management, but overall not terrible, just not for me.

My son and I stopped in to Perry's family restaurant on a Sunday about 1. The restaurant at that time was approximately 50% full and we were seated right away. I ordered a coffee and my son got a water. My first order of business is always coffee in the coffee should always be full and there should always be somebody walking around with a pot offering the top somebody off. Not only was this cup about 5 ounces but also it took me forever to flight somebody down to get me another cup of coffee. not that I should have drank a second cup of coffee because it actually tasted really pretty burnt and not something I probably should have had a second cup of. our table had the street of creamer and sugar or actually I prefer the International Delight vanilla things. I did stop at two cups of coffee and decided to wait till home when I could actually make a decent cup of joe.I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with some home fries which were the shredded kind in they were actually a little burned and I am a big fan of home fries but this just simply did not do it for me. The Omelette was mediocre and it serve the purpose but I don't think I would go out of my way to find this place again. The good part of the review is my son did have a pancake which seem to be a little bigger than his head and he really liked the bacon he said it was extra crunchy. From a price point perspective it was priced a little higher than my normal stomping grounds and I think they probably could up the portion just a little bit to meet what the food was costing. Overall two-and-a-half to three stars

Nice small town restaurant. Love the salad bar. Can use some updates for sure but it's an older restaurant so that's expected. They are always so nice and polite and very helpful. The kids like coming here. Look forward to coming back again.
