Peg's Dining Place

Excellent! Seems of the beaten path, almost past it up. So glad we stopped. Pegs burger was a full meal...tasty! If you're ever close by do yourself a favor and stop!Stuffed!

Disregard the naysayers from a few years ago. This place is great! Very good food; friendly staff. We have been here before and stopped again today on a country ride from our home. We had my mother here a few years before she passed and she remarked "I want to stop here again the next time I come to see you"!

Peg's place is consistently good home style food with a nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Peg is often there herself. It's easy to miss driving by but if your driving south on 250 toward Cadiz it's just before the sign for the Microtel on the left. When I stay at the Microtel in Cadiz I always eat at Peg's for lunch or dinner.

Stopped for a late breakfast on the way to the airport and our waitress Alysia was so sweet and great! The food was amazing and everyone was welcoming. It's a great small town place to eat!

We had lunch here and both of us ordered the ribs, which were dry and microwaved. My father in law had the sweet potatoes side and they were average, and i had the mac and cheese side and it was the best part of lunch. The place was clean and the staff was great and very attentive.

07/05/16 visit- I stop here for lunch. I ordered a sausage sandwich and my son ordered a cheeseburger with mozzarella cheese&grilled onions. When the food arrived I could tell my son's burger was from a frozen patty and they had the wrong cheese on it, they put american cheese. My sausage sandwich wasnt anything special but wasnt terrible.. just bland. Looking at the tabel next to me they had scrambled eggs and could tell by looking at it the eggs came from a carton. When I stop at a place like this I expect fresh food. And surely isnt like the place was hear before.. Bessies used all farm fresh products. I would stop again if I was hungry and really nothing close by. But I surely would drive just eat here either.
