Pat O'Brien's Fine Wines, Liquor And Gourmet Foods

Debra G. is trippin. Honest mistakes happen. This place is great. The staff is very helpful and their selection is pretty nice for the size of their store. I'm in there at least once a month.

Cool place with a good liquor selection. Also their best items aren't even alcoholic; it's the baguettes that they sell. You heat those babies up at home and slab some butter on them and they are super tasty. Other than that it's your standard liquor store, prices are all pretty much the same on Ohio, but they also have a wide selection of beers and wines available here too.

I grew up in Solon and my mom is still in the area. I realized very last minute that her 75th birthday really merited more than the standard flower arrangement. Found Pat O'Brien's on the web and was thrilled to learn they delivered (given I'm now a few thousand miles away).Called and said I wanted a bottle of the best cab my mom will have ever tasted and gave my price range (with some wiggle room). They didn't even hit the max adding in the small fee for delivery and picked a very special, small batch Napa cab that I'm sure is going to knock her socks off. Mom reports the bottle was presented in a great looking gift bag and the man who dropped it off couldn't have been nicer. Lesson learned: Forget the flowers. Send wine! And do it through these guys. They really came through.

Have I mentioned I really like single-malt Scotch? I mean, since this morning have I mentioned it?So that makes it pretty hard to drive by a new wine/beer/hootch place without at least wandering in to see if they're, you know, "giving away samples." Rear back on the reins, whoa, now WHOA there, big fella... Pat O'Briens! (I really needed a house-warming gift for this weekend. Really. For real.)Well, lookie here. Some of these-here Scotch bottles are actually on sale. The prices have been lowered. Is that even legal? Don't they know that it's a Brand New Day in America? That maximum profit is right there, in the New Bill of Rights? Come ON, people, mark these babies UP! (Sure, I argued with the guy, but I finally had to pay the sale price. It was... un-American, dammit! I should call Rush, let Him know.)Nice place, if just a tad crowded: wines all over the front half, a tiny deli wedged into the back, then a modest booze annex. I was standing in front of the Scotch section, meditating, perusing, pre-drinking, when one of the three people working there came over to "help." Okay, I'll bite. How many cask strengths you got, here, Jethro? He froze in his tracks. I know, it wasn't fair of me, but HE started it, Mom!

We recently had our daughter's wedding and Pat O'Brien's handled all the beer, wine and liquor. Peter, the owner, was wonderful to deal with. He walked us through everything. They delivered and picked up unused wine and beer too and gave us a credit. Great selection and exceptional customer service!Thanks Peter!!!Chris and Dana Rose

I LOVE this place! Everyone is very helpful and so friendly. Years ago, I was beer girl at a golf scholarship fund raiser, and I needed baby fireballs and they only had 10 and I knew I needed 30 so they took the time to call another State Store. Great customer service! If you are clueless or apprehensive about wine, just ask, and they will be more than happy to suggest a great bottle in your price range. Thank you to the staff for all you do!

Nice little liquor store friendly staff just not much beer to choose from if you a IPA drinker

Never been here before until yesterday.. I went in to pick up a bottle to bring to dinner last night. I got to the counter and he rang me up. I even asked why so much and he said tax. I got in the car and looked at receipt and he charged me $22.29 plus tax instead of what the bottle said $20.49. I mean it was chalked on bottle clear as day what the cost was. Warning: If you shop here regularly watch what they charge, since they will over charge you. I won't be going back.

I was looking for a unique Christmas gift for my daughter. Not the usual department store cards or regular gift cards. We sent my mother-in-law a wonderful fruit basket from a local florist in FL, why not something in Cleveland. I got online and found Pat O'briens. They created a wonderful gourmet wine and cheese basket that she was delighted with. I had it ship to her work, and her coworkers were wondering if she has a secret admirer. How fun! Thank you Pat O'briens for helping me make Christmas special for my daughter.
