Pat & Dandys Sports Pub & Grill

We stopped in on a Tuesday evening. It wasn't too crowded and they had live music. We both had chili, which was tasty (too many beans for me) and split some pickle fries. They were good. Taco specials were 3 for $5.95. They were good. The new look is better than before but the service still lags pretty hard.

We heard Bar Rescue featured Pat and Dandy's earlier this year. We went on a Thurday evening due to the daily special of Prime Rib.We arrived just before 6:30 and the exterior still looked much the same as the last time we stopped in several months ago. Walking into the restaurant/bar area, that also still looked much the same.When we said we were interested in the daily special prime rib, we were told they had nothing below medium on the doneness scale. What? It was only 6:30! We were also told we could not substitute for the baked potato.Needless to say, we both changed our minds because medium rare is the only way to go with steaks / prime rib, and neither one of us wanted a baked potato.I figured I would order the NY Strip (only steak choice on the menu) medium rare (so I could have done to my liking), with a side salad and steak fries. The other meal was the smothered chicken with coleslaw.When my food was presented, it was a thinner cut steak more on the medium - medium well range. Definitely not a medium rare and there were only 5 or 6 Steak Fries.We both commented on the way home the food was not all that great. I am saying this because we typically purchase Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished beef and pastured free-range chicken. The taste of these meat products is night and day difference compared to commercially raised beef and chicken. Much cleaner tasting and I don't feel bloated after having a steak dinner - like I do now.

Had a bad experience before here. Decided to try pat and dandy's again after the bar rescue... we are Dolphins fans so we came in to watch the game and were told we couldn't sit at the bar tables (best tables to see and hear game) because we were not part of the "fan club" wtf... so we took our business elsewhere will never return....

Great bar food and AMAZING place to watch a good sports game!They have two projectors and TV's everywhere.Perfect place to come and watch a great game.

Great food, great atmosphere and great waitress! You will love it there. Plenty of choices on the food side in addition to great drinks. Highly recommend as a friendly place. You're only a stranger once.

I'm from Cincinnati and whenever I pass through Toledo I try to have dinner here. I love their shrimp and perch dinners on Friday and Saturday evening. The food is terrific as well as the wait staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Disgusting to watch the cook and wait staff constantly sit out on the patio smoking. Bet none of them washed there hands. Bar Rescue evidently didn't teach them that appearances mean a lot to new customers. Food was ok but had already lost our appetite.

First time I'd been to Pat& Dandy's. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. It felt like a neighborhood bar. Everyone was friendly and our waitress was quick to get our drinks. We told her we wanted to talk a bit before ordering dinner. She had no problem and didn't rush us to place a food order. After the food was ordered it came out quickly and hot. We had appetizers to share, cheese quesadillas and steak bites. They were plenty and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Me and my husband went there for a few drinks and good music the band was great however the bartender Jimmy was extremely rude and obnoxious not only to us but we overheard him being rude to another customer I was so mad bc we chose to stay there other then go bar hopping like we originally said we were going to do! We didn't even drink our drinks we paid and left bc we didn't wanna be surrounded around that environment!

All you can eat perch....as always was great. We have not been here for a while and they now charge for substitutions ($1.00 extra for tater tots instead of a baked potato). Chicken fingers basket, good. (.50 extra for additional bbq sauce).Food was good....be prepared to be "penny-nickel-dined." Our server, Mary, was lovely.
