Parker & Sons BBQ

Stopped by their food truck on a whim, they're parked by the corner of Cedar Rd and Fenwick Rd (Across from the Univ Hts Library) Fri and Sat. The menu is a small placard by the truck window and not everything is available all the time but the guy at the window was friendly walking us through everything. We ended up getting the jerk chicken combo and a rib dinner. Each meal comes with 2 sides and all together it came out to $32. We sat in our car for maybe 7-8 mins then he waved at us when our food was ready. I'll echo the other reviewers and say the star of the show was definitely the jerk chicken which the meal comes with a thigh and drumstick (along with 5-6 rib tips). The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a tasty allspice crust but no real habanero heat. The rib tips and ribs we got in our other meal were just OK. They did have a great smoke flavor, weren't too dry, and were meaty but you definitely had to bite the meat off the bone. The texture was probably half-way between grilled and fall off the bone tender. They do come pre-sauced with a KC-style BBQ sauce that was good but nothing really stood out about it. The 6 ribs in the meal came uncut which did make eating in the car awkward because they didn't include a knife in the bag. As for the sides, the boiled cabbage was a surprising winner as it was served in a savory and slightly spicy broth. The mac and cheese and baked beans were otherwise pretty standard as well.Overall the meal was decent but pretty forgettable aside from maybe the jerk chicken but you're probably not stopping at a BBQ place because you're craving Jamaican.

The ribs was soooo pink like that they were never fully cooked terrible. I came home and had to put them in my oven. I wanted to give them business not again

The bbq was boiled or baked then placed on the grill just to give the appearance of grilled but tasted like it wasn't from the grill. Meat not seasoned and membrane was not removed this was one of the nastiest bbq ribs I've ever had! Only ate two and didn't even finish them and I was suppose to get 6 bones with dinner but two weren't whole bones. If this was good back in the day it isn't now! I put this in the trash and I wish I could get a refund don't waste your money!!

Polish girl was absolutely delicious. Big fan of the bbq sauce. Cole slaw is really solid as well. The brisket was also some of the best I've had in a long time.

Get. The. Jerk. Chicken. Best smoked chicken I've ever had. Great people, food was great.

They were at Rock the Block in South Euclid. Worst BBQ ribs of my life. Ribs were greasy, fatty, membrane cooked on, meat not tender as if not slow smoked but grilled in a food truck. Paid about $40 for a full rack dinner. Threw it in the garbage at home. Sides below average.
