Paradise Island Saloon

I've been coming to this place for years and I usually enjoy it. The food was great today and my servers were nice but they added on gratuity for any bill over $40. I don't mind gratuity because I'm a server myself and I'm definitely going to. Usually more than 20%. But I literally came in with my daughter and we had water to drink appetizers to share and they automatically added gratuity on. I just think that's a little bit crazy. I understand for large parties or if it's always gratuity because some places are like that in bigger cities. But this is your neighborhood hole in the wall bar. I think it's greedy to just automatically add on a tip. Don't know if I'll continue coming here or not.

reasonably priced. I got the Chicken Philly and my partner got the mushroom & swiss burger. Food was delicious and the drinks were strong. Good atmosphere to watch the game and listen to music! can't complain!

This is the worst place I been to in a long time I would tell you how the food was but I didn't get to try anything I would tell you how the drinks was but I didn't get to try anything.I can tell you the place was dirty empty dirty food trays on multiple tables for more then 20 minutes,for the 40 minutes I was there nobody came to my table at all and they was not packed.The two woman working kept looking at me making eye contact but didn't come to my table at all not professional what so ever.The ambiance was terrible looked like they gave up on how it looked a long time ago not comforting or friendly at

The food here was excellent. The cheeseburger was plump, moist and cooked just right. The bowl of chili with all the fixings was bursting with great flavor. Best of all was the crab dip. It was utterly rich, creamy, cheesy, meaty and luscious. Our server was as nice and accommodating as could be. The interior was kitschy and cute with funny manikins that made us laugh. So why didn't I give it 5 stars? If the juke box had been playing the Beatles or the Four Seasons, I surely would have. But alas, it was blasting out heavy metal rock that just doesn't appeal to this old man. So, consider this a 5 star review if you're a fan of loud, aggressive rock. We'll definitely be going back for the food and service, but I'm bringing earplugs.

Looking for a quick bite to eat? This is your spot. It's clean inside however their mask wearing was non existent. The bartender was friendly but she made my drink way too strong to the point I couldn't drink it. Food options are limited and I'm assuming because of covid so is their staff; so long wait times will be allowed but are still frowned upon. They didn't have any plastic barriers between bar patrons, and their table seating was pretty much open. The food was decent however the chicken on my sandwich was not cooked fully and by the time they changed shifts and a new girl came out I was annoyed and didn't want to say anything. It's definetly a local spot and has tons of regulars, honestly I didn't feel welcome. I got more of a private club feeling than I did of an open restaurant. I probably won't be back but their wings were certainly to die for!

My husband just got back with food poisoning from here. He had their beer and loaded tator tots. He has been vomiting nonstop. Something has gone wrong with the food prep. He's been so unwell do not eat here

Went there and ordered Buffalo chicken dip and chips as an appetizer and then fish tacos 15 minutes later. people that came after me got an entre before I got an appetizer, then my friend that got there after I ordered my entre got his food at the same time as me. then, later on I finally got my chips. why did I get an app after the entre? why were all of my chips bottom of the bag crumbs?...lastly why does it take so long to bring out chips and dip?

The food is great. Even though everytime I come there is no soup rolls. The c buffalo chicken dip was amazing and my wrap. Potatoes bowl also good

I was just there about 15 minutes ago I said at the bar for approximately 15 minutes never got service the bar mate it was so busy taking care of her friend and whatever else she was doing I don't know because it wasn't serving the customers it was a gentleman that came from the back does he had gloves on there was another gentleman behind the bar he had a goatee Caucasian the cook asked him to fix him a drink it was supposed to be a coffee drink but I watched him put vodka absolutely in the drink he was so busy serving the cook that he never asked me either if I need a service at the waiting so long I got tired of being ignored so I left and I took my business to SAM SYLKS. We are gladly receive service and spent approximately $75 on food sorry Paradise maybe next time it won't be a next time let me stop lying.

Normally, I am a firm believer in giving all restaurants I eat at, at least a 2 star review. Problem was, never ate here. I was in the restaurant for about 15 mins, was never greeted at the door (even though I said hello and waited before I assumed it was sit yourself)Sat at a table next to the bar where I was in view of the bartenders/servers. Waited and waited, was not even acknowledged, it looked as if this place only catered towards regulars. After 15 mins of not being acknowledged, I got up and left. From the pictures, the food looked good, prices seemed right, but non existent customer service. Could I have gotten up, waved down a bartender or server? Absolutely, but if I am there to give you money, I'll take my business elsewhere. Would I recommend? No, but I may stop in again and update the review accordingly.
