Papa’s Bakery Cafe

I've tried two sandwiches from here and tried different pastries. Pastime I was there they forgot my bread but I will try to have it made up for the mistake.

This place is awesome. They have apple turnovers but I wanted apple filled doughnuts so they made me a batch fresh in 6-7 minutes. Also they have awesome sandwiches!

We were driving from Kent to Pennsylvania to see family and found this place on Yelp because our normal bread shop was closed on Sunday. So glad it was. This is a local gem. We tried several pastries and cake (sugar donut , chocolate cake, cheesecake, and a custard filled tube) and they were all delicious. We also had the Rican sandwich and that was flavorful - a sweet sauce, pressed bread, perfectly cooked meat. The coffee was pressed and very smooth. We were lucky that they had fresh bread pop out of the oven while we were waiting and they sold us a loaf (usually available only in the morning). It was a clean restaurant, very casual, Puerto Rican music playing. The service was excellent. They were very nice. We will definitely stop again.

We stopped to get some pastries, absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back for more. Staff friendly & attentive. Must stop, if on that side of town. Wonderful family business

The food here was very good. The service was great. The ambiance was good had some Spanish music. The only thing was it was a little hot in the restaurant but overall I had a good experience here.

overpriced, mofongo is advertised for 14$ but when you order they charge you 15, then they charge you 75 cents (which you get actually charged 85 cents)for a cup of mayoketchup that is not even a 1/4 full. Crazy to me how you have to be screwed in prices because you want to taste a little bit of your land. Forgot to mention the Tripleta ABSOLUTELY SUCKS, its just a plain sandwich with 3 meats in it, where are the potato sticks, where is the mayoketchup, where is the ketchup, where is the cheese? Gone there few times but I'll move to just buying privately, absolutely outrageous

Food is delicious and service is great! Everyone's really friendly, they take orders over the phone and is really really fast. The place is clean and cozy.

Great little hidden gem. We definitely recommend stopping in when you're near by! The good was delicious.

Excellent huge Cuban sandwiches, they were very friendly. We were asked three times if our food was ok. Family ran business, they made us feel at home, and were very gracious. Where else can you find a place like this?we will be returning.

Breakfast platter was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Had the privilege of speaking with the owner, for the lack of better words he was an outstanding man, I'm glad that I could supoort local business the banging food was a bonus ;)
