Papa Joe's Pizza & Pies

Recently started to order pizza and subs from here, and it's delish! I don't know why I waited so long easy to pick up at the drive thru window, more affordable than other pizza joints it seems. Really good!

Just called 15 minutes ago. asked if they had pecan pies, the lady said, "yes we have plenty of them, come on down we are open till 6PM". I drove right there in 5PM traffic only to be told all they had were ordered! The man couldn't explain it but said they will get another order in Wednesday and will call me. I thought they made them there! I will update this after I see how it turns out Wednesday!

We've bought their pies from time to time in Heinen's and were looking forward to getting something in their shop. Ordered a large pizza and a small peach pie. First the pie... it was about as average and unmemorable a pie as I can recall ever having. Absolutely nothing of note about it. Just meh. Pizza was odd. We ordered sausage, onions, and green peppers. Veggies diced into extremely small pieces, and heaps and heaps of sausage... which was so bland we all wondered if it was just hamburger meat. Almost no taste whatsoever. Service was... odd. The guy was just odd.

Ok, Here from out of town. Went to get pizza & subs. Uhhhhhh pies ok. Pizza ok sorta dry, I mean hot about some sauce. The buttered steak sandwich is horrible!!! Its a bun and a tiny-skinny piece of weird meat and that's it. I mean older people remember the word steak-um it's some greasy meat from the 70 's. Was pretty good way better than this place !! Go elsewhere !!

Awesome place to visit for pizza, chicken, paprikash, salads, pies, and every thing else on the menu. The best crust around! ! Great service and there is always a smile to greet you! :)

Great company - I grew up in Vermilion and was practically raised on their food. :)Now that I live in Boston, they are still great, as I can call and have them deliver some goodies for my dad, who is still a Vermilionite.Nice people, great food, and awesome pies!

Decades ago, when I was a kid living in Vermilion, we had Papa Joe's about once a week. It was always great. Back in August my wife and I stopped in when we were passing through Northern Ohio. We ordered a large pepperoni, light sauce and double cheese. It was excellent. At first, my wife said she would only eat a couple slices. We each ate half, finishing it up right there. We're in Cleveland as I type this, but we'll be making the hour drive to Vermilion for some Papa Joe's before heading back out of state.

We were looking for a local place open on fourth of July. My mom is in an assisted living facility in Vermilion and she thought pizza sound good. We are two hours away so I called ahead to make sure they were open (closed only three days a year-Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter). I ordered as we got closer, was given excellent directions, and even asked if they had pop to go (they do). Papa Joe's has a drive thru so it was quick and easy to get in and out. The pizza was really good and very reasonably priced!!I'm assuming it was the owner I talked to-Johnny R-he was very pleasant and helpful-so good to see in this day and age!!Thank you so much for a great experience

Great pizza, edge to edge toppings, fresh ingredients have made this our go to pizza spot. We have been ordering from Papa Joe's for 20+ years and have never had a bad pizza. Fresh pies are excellent as well, flaky crust and plenty of fillings.
