Had the best affogato here!!! I loved sitting outside the place is so cute, inside feels a little industrial so I wouldn't sit inside

Not for me. Their serving sizes are small, prices are high, and it's honestly not very good. The staff was nice though and the establishment itself is very clean with nice, new updated decor.

This place was WONDERFUL! My partner and I stopped in as we were visiting the state park from out of town and as soon as we saw gelato we knew we had to go. I had a hot latte with Irish cream and oat milk which was nice and the vegetarian panini (greens, tomato, and mozzarella) while my partner had the one with Brie and Ham. And for dessert the Belgium chocolate and banana dolce de leche

Wow! Yumminess to the max! I have had gelato in some fairly upscale places, but I believe this is the best ever. First of all, the location is in the Historic District of New Castle, PA. I'm so happy they have opened in this location, as quirky and even a bit difficult to find at first. The view is one you don't find from many spots on the North Hill. Now the gelato- smooth, creamy and not too cold. I had the Blackberry Cabernet Sorbetto and Amareno Black cherry gelato. My sister had the mango gelato and coconut gelato. One scoop of each. Sizes are mini, regular and large. 2 mini servings was perfect. I love cherry vanilla custard, and this was way better. You've gotta try it out. Support this small business and enjoy a treat on a summer day! Btw, the staff is always pleasant. And since this post, I have returned several times. Although I have my favorites, EVERY flavor is delicious.

We stumbled on this place and are so glad we did! It's an unexpected gem! Super cute atmosphere we can't wait to go back in the summer when the outdoor patio is open and fairy lights are on. The gelato was delicious and they had some great flavors to choose from. My kids were thrilled to get to try gelato for the first time. Worth the stop!

Papa Gelateria is such a great place! I love the vibe and the culture it brings to New Castle. It's one of the best places to go, get coffee and amazing Gelato! It's a MUST GO!
