Pandora's Cupcakes

I was torn between a 1 star and 2 star review. Their cupcakes are just okay, the peanut butter chocolate ones seem to be consistently the best and most moist. Other flavors I've found to be extremely dry. We've tried this place quite a few times, my husband even had cupcakes made for my bday here (key lime- which were awful btw). But I think what really bothers me about this place is that they are SOOO unfriendly. Like I've said, we've been here a few times (maybe a half-dozen) and EVERY single time, the sales person is in the back and acts irritated that we've come in to purchase cupcakes. I just don't get it. I was just there last night (same unfriendly service) and this time found a plastic lid cover baked into one of our cupcakes (shown in picture). I just don't think I can support a business that has such terrible customer service and serves a mediocre product.

I used to frequent the Cuyahoga Falls location before it moved to Tallmadge because it was right down the street and the cupcakes are delicious. I work out this way now and decided to get cupcakes for a special occasion at work. I ordered last minute and the gentleman on the phone was rightfully noncommittal to anything other than his usual flavors. I wanted 3 s'mores but he said he couldn't do that. I was a little disappointed. Anyways, paid over the phone and showed up the next morning. He had made the s'mores. I didn't expect it and it was a nice surprise. My coworkers loved them. Thanks for going above and beyond despite my lack of planning.

I got my free cupcake for the day after seeing my name on their Facebook page. I was the only one in the shop and some young man came out and greeted me and just asked to see my ID and I had my choice of about 10 different cupcakes and I chose the Lemon Drop....it looked and sounded good. He was friendly and answered some questions I had about ordering, etc. I waited till the following morning and was surprised how moist it was and the buttercream frosting with awesome! Not too strong and sweet and then in the middle of the cupcake was lemon fill....plus it was a huge cupcake! I would recommend this place if anyone asks and I was impressed with all the different flavors you could order...I will be back!

This is my favorite cupcake shop in the area. My personal favorite is the Red Velvet cupcake (and on that note, please make them more often, Pandora's!), but the mint chocolate and wedding cupcakes are also family faves. The Akron location has a super convenient drive thru, and they post their daily flavors each morning on their Facebook page, so you know before you go what there is to choose from.As is normal for a shop like this, they will close early if they sell out, so if you're planning to go later in the day you should call ahead to make sure they still have cupcakes!

Found the cake to be dry and heavy. Not light and fluffy like others. White frosting was just blah!

Not the best, not the worst either. Just okay... not the level that sprinkles cupcakes or smallscakes is at, they need to level up.

Stopped in here to pick up some cupcakes for a friend's birthday. The store was pretty sterile feeling, and even though there were tables in there, I would definitely feel uncomfortable eating in such an empty store, no music or anything. Prices weren't too bad for the size of the cupcakes, and the flavor assortments were promising. But my goodness, when I tried a few of them with my friend...I didn't even want to finish the halves I had cut for myself. Bland and dry and there was way too much of the icing, which tasted mildly of Crisco or something.A little bit later a friend told me about her experience there with the owner...he treated her terribly. I will certainly not be returning.

Terrible, terrible service. I went into the store, midday, and was the only customer in the place. I had my infant daughter in her car seat with me. The single employee there was quite rude to me, and seemed very annoyed that I was there. I placed my order, and got very short answers from the employee. Again, it seemed as if this employee was annoyed I was even there. I didn't see the employee was his hands. He didn't wear gloves or use tongs/tissue paper to pick out my items- just bare hands.When it was time to pay, I inserted my card into the machine. The machine must've been acting up, as the transaction was taking a bit longer than normal. The employee said "I CANNOT LET YOU LEAVE UNTIL THE MERCHANT RECEIPT PRINTS." Ok, I understand the importance of receipts. However, those choice of words were a big issue to me. "I cannot let you leave" can be very triggering to some people. Like holding someone hostage... Not great customer service. Once the receipt printed, I asked the employee if the store had any bags (to help carry my two boxes.) The employee quickly said nope, turned around and walked away (maybe into the kitchen) out of my sight. He didn't say thank you or bye or anything. The whole reason I was asking for a bag was bc I had to carry both boxes as well as my daughter in her car seat out the door. It was hard to juggle it and keep the store door open. It would've been nice had the employee offered help- but he quickly disappeared before I could even ask for help. Again, poor customer service. The only reason I even gave it 1 star was for the brownies I purchased. The brownies are really good- although I'm not even sure they make them. Needless to say, I won't be going back. I felt very unwelcome and almost unsafe with the very few words that were actually spoken to me.

Fantastic cupcakes I hate cupcakes, I only eat the cake and take off the frosting. This time, however, I bought a doz for guests coming over and gave it a shot. I tried the frosting and I was just BLOWN AWAY. These are not your average cupcake and I get it now what people say that it is all about the cream, it really is. These are delicious and its a huge plus that they are so cute too. They have a forever customer with us.

I've tried Pandora's cupcakes several times and am always very underwhelmed. Cupcakes are pretty dense, overly sweet, and a bit dry. Frosting is so overly sweet and dense that we took most of it off while eating. The decorations are really nice, and they are a good price for the large size, but the taste didn't live up to the looks at all. I also had a small issue with service-- when i requested a certain type of popcorn they had listed on their facebook that morning, the woman said they did not have it. I could see the labeled bin with the popcorn and pointed it out and asked if that was it, and the woman didn't respond, which was odd. I could even see some pre-made bags of the flavor I wanted but she seemed determined to get me out of the store for some reason. Overall I would not recommend or order from them again.
