Padrino’s Tacos & Cantina

The best chips and salsa that I have ever had.They are located in Westgate Shopping Center, formally Westgate mall (Rocky River/Fairview). They have indoor and outdoor seating. My carry out order was ready when I arrived (Monday 12-23-24 apx 7:00pm). I would defiantly come back.

Not bad - service was excellent food was ok. Like other reviews have said, the chips are hard and the food lacked flavor but overall the food was very fresh. Margaritas were homemade and very good. I do feel it is priced higher than other Mexican restaurants for what you get.

Padrino's - which is located in Westgate Shopping Center - is a pretty new place; the new restaurant opened a few months ago. The other day, I was really craving fajitas, so I decided to give the new Fairview Park establishment a try.I came into the restaurant on a late Monday afternoon, so it was quiet. For my late lunch, I ordered horchata ($3.79) and fajitas with chicken ($20.99). The horchata was a refreshing, sweet beverage that was heavy on the cinnamon and perfect for the muggy summer day.My fajitas came out on a sizzling platter, which came with red peppers, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and a good amount of chicken. The meal also came with 4 warmed up corn tortillas that were made in-house, a spicy orange salsa, Mexican rice, refried beans in a little crispy taco bowl shell, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo.The fajitas were delicious. The vegetables had a nice caramelization on them, and the chicken was juicy and lightly spiced. I also enjoyed the rice (which was soft, fluffy, and seasoned nicely) as well as the fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. The refried beans were kind of bland, but they weren't bad, and since I was hungry, I nonetheless devoured them. The salsa was tasty and had some heat (my wimpy taste-buds were struggling). It was a good amount of food, and I was full from the meal.Still, I had a little room for dessert, so I ordered a slice of tres leches cake ($5.99). The cake had a pleasing presentation and was topped with sliced fresh strawberries. It was moist, soaked in sweet milk, and utterly scrumptious.All in all, Padrino's is a great new addition to Westgate, and if you're looking for a filling meal after a long day of shopping at the mall, you can't go wrong with it. Note - if you pay for your meal with a credit card, it does come with a 3.8% fee.

Fabulous new addition to food the casual food scene in Fairview Park at Westgate Shopping Plaza. The staff were welcoming upon entrance, quick to ask if we wanted to sit inside or on the patio. Once seated our server told us a bit about the menu. We opted for the dip trio consisting of fresh cups, salsa, guacamole and cheese sauce. We pursued the menu, a sampling of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees and build your own, tacos, enchiladas, tortas, quesadillas and gortidas. You pick the menu item and then choose your protein. I ordered the grilled shrimp Gordita, super fresh s d full of authentic flavor, smeared with refried beans and house made hot sauce. My husband went with the chicken torta, the bread was perfectly grilled. Being our first time, we didn't get a chance to try a lot, but we will definitely be back. A great addition to the neighborhood.

Happy hour is only Monday to Thursday. They get the award for Hardest & thickest chips ever. Salsa ,guacamole and queso are tastey. Margaritas were nice and Cutesy slightly mindful of the stress of the week. The draft Corona was absolutely premier. Will come back for happy hour pricing.

Tortilla soup is one of the best things on the menu. Have had Burritos, nachos and tacos. Food is very good hlas us the service here

Third time being here and every time has been exceptional. Food has always been very delicious. Service is generally very prompt, unless on days they're busy, however they manage it very well. Server, Marcus, today was very friendly, personable, and professional. All of our questions were answered. The restaurant was clean and modern. Reviews mention price of tacos, $3-4 is fairly standard price, however, the quality of Pardinos Tacos were above other restaurants in the area.

I stopped here while shopping and the food and service were great! More authentic than your usual restaurant of this type. I will be back

First time at Padrino's! We had Ray as our waitress. She's the best! Drinks were massive for the price. Would definitely recommend the quesabirria tacos and the cheesecake. Awesome service!!
