Pacific East

Stopped in for lunch after an appointment in the area. Had the two sushi roll maki lunch specials. Reasonable price. Peter our server was nice. He checked on us twice. The miso soup was good for a drizzly Friday afternoon. The salad was the typical ginger dressing and tasty. The sushi was very good. The restaurant has an outside door and a door into the strip mall area across from stone oven. It is a simply decorated place. Recommend for a quick tasty sushi lunch.

Pacific East has been around for years. My opinion is it's ok. I have friends who love it, but i don't think their sushi is as good others, especially Shuhei which is fresher and more adventurous. Good for lunch is your close to one but not a regular fan.

Stopped in after work at around 7pm and seated immediately. The appetizers we ordered came out in a few minutes and our sushi platters came out as we finished the appetizers. Everything was excellent!

I came here for lunch while the Cleve. Hts location is being renovated. I immediately noticed the menu is different and abridged. I asked the waitress about it and she claims it's a totally "different company", "different owner". Not sure if that is true or whether it was just a misunderstanding. Regardless, I had the Sashimi Bento box. Everything was excellent. It did not have my favorite though...smoked tuna. The Soba noodles I ordered for my daughter was OK, cooked fresh--you could tell--but had the predominant flavor of asian 5 spice which was kind of odd. I added some soysauce to it and my daughter loved it. Overall, a nice place although I miss the other menu items of Cleveland Hts Pacific East.

The lunch and dinner specials are an extremely good deal. I really only ever get Katsu or sushi here so can't speak to the rest but those are really good.

Fantastic sushi always good for takeout. Excellent, customer service very punctual with taking orders. In regards to ambience the restaurant itself is small, but has a very homey feel to it. :)

Got the ocean roll last night, don't recommend unless you want to be hugging a toilet all night! Got some severe food poisoning, almost meriting an ER trip. Server was rude and purposefully sat us by the door in overflow seating while other seating was available, probably because we are teenagers and she expected low payment. Ambiance would have been nice inside the actual restaurant but we didn't get to experience that!

Although the restaurant is small, the food is fresh and delicious and the staff is wonderful! Everyone was extremely attentive and friendly, they even offered sushi recommendations. They have a variety of rolls that they make fresh and all of the ingredients were great, but could have had a more expansive menu. Definitely a great lunch spot, we will be back!

Good service, timely orders. I liked the ambience, the menu is quite large with friendly atmosphere.

Very bad experience ... I ordered a noodle and chicken dish and the chicken tasted spoiled and I asked is they could take it back and bring me a fresh meal.. he took it back and claimed they made a new one but brought me out the exact same one. I told him that it is the same spoiled chicken and he denied it'. I said just take it off the bill I can't eat it and he refused to. So shady and to add insult to injury the sushi chef was shooting us nasty looks the entire meal for sending Back rotten food .Who ever said that the customer is always right ?
