So I'm out of town and I found this place as my wife finds it best for me to have Indian when I'm away. I ordered the usual chicken vindaloo, samosas, and naan bread. I also opted to try something new called Chatpate. I ordered the vindaloo hot and it was perfect. I have to say this is the best vindaloo that I've had inside the US. It's a very serious contender compared to the ones I've had outside the US as well. Job well done. The samosas were perfect as well. Large, warm temperature, and very tasty. The naan bread was typical and I have to say that the chatpate is an acquired... sensation? It taste fine, but the texture is a little different. I guess because it's got veggies in it and whatever would equate to the crunchiness of rice noodles. All in all this place is fantastic. It appears to be mostly a take away place so it's quite small. However, it's well worth a visit. Can't wait to come back to Cleveland to try some other things on the menu!

Good Local Place For CurryThis place is very basic so don't expect much in the way of ambience. It's carry out only. The owner was very friendly and took time to explain the distinction between some of the dishes to us. Lamb vindaloo is really good. The sauce is the star of the entree here, so good and tasty. Medium hot was good for me. Chana saag we got the vegetarian version and it was surprisingly good. I did not miss not having meat on this entree. My guess it be out of this world with meat. Medium spicy was good. Steam momo with chicken was so good. The dipping sauce was so good my wife used it on everything. They should be selling this in a jar. The food was very good and freshly prepared but I felt the price was a bit high given it's just a takeout place with very little overhead

I have not tried any Indian food since relocating here from California last year and sadly this is just another disappointment among numerous Restaurants that have no idea how to cook authentic food. I chose a Butter chicken that was essentially chicken cubes soaked in a tomato sauce. There was virtually NO cream in it (or if so, not enough to even taste or give a creamy consistency to the gravy). To give it kick, it tasted like they just put red chili peppers instead of authentic Gharamasala spices. The Chicken Biriyani had chicken that was dried out and crusty around the edges, while the Garlic Naan was COMPLETELY inedible as it was obviously microwaved and by the time I got it home it was hard as a rock!! You could NEVER cook the crap they pass as food here in Cleveland. I will likely just stop attempting to find decent food here. With exception of a few select Italian Restaurants in Little Italy, Cleveland is a tasteless arm pit.

I got this food as takeout while I was sick and it was AMAZING! The jhol momos were hot and delicious, I ordered medium spicy which I thought was perfect for flavor without being spicy. I have had tomato based soups with my jhol momos before but this was thicker and was more onion/garam masala flavor which i loved. The chicken inside was marinated wonderfully and I could taste the jhol separately from that. Secondly I got the lamb curry which was packed full of flavor and served with an ample amount of actual lamb meat. Usually the issue I have with lamb is that it's too chewy but did not have that problem at all! You can get it with naan for extra but I thought it went really well along with the rice which they packed to the brim. I have been eating some every day so it won't run out but I think it's time to order more. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent Nepali restaurant! The food is home style, fresh, delicious. We ordered veggie jhol momos, paneer tikka masala, and chatpate. The prices are very reasonable. They are a take out only restaurant. The owner was very kind and personable. Definitely recommend and will return!

This may be my favorite Indian/Nepalese place in the 216. The chicken saag was amazing. I asked for extra hot, and it did not disappoint. The owner is super friendly. You must try this place.

Wow! This place is amazing. We got take out: chili momos, fried momos, gobi manchurian, chatpate, and paneer biryani. All were super delicious and exactly the spice level we ordered (including that extra hot chatpate ). Easily some of the best Nepalese and Indian food I've ever had. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

Loved it. Might be the best curry house in town. Tasty momos. Yummy mutter paneer. Naan were good. Absolutely nothing to complain about at this place. Try it out. We have tried many places in NE Ohio and this curry is top notch.

Eastsiders wanting to try yet another cuisine can celebrate as P.K. Curry House finally brings Nepalese food to the East Side of Cleveland. Located in a small strip of stores on Mayfield Road near the new Starbucks is a nice little take out place for Indian food and Nepalese food. The two cuisines are similar, with the Nepali side of the menu adding items such as Momos (dumplings) and Chowmein (Noodles). The restaurant is primarily takeout, although they have 2 very small tables in the window if you want to eat there. Since this was my first time trying P.K. I got a couple of items with the plan to eat some for dinner and some for lunch the next day. I like dumplings so I tried the Veg Jhol Momos which are steamed vegetable filled dumplings in a soup; the dumplings were handmade with a soft dumpling skin and mixed chopped vegies inside adding some crunch.. The flavor of the dumplings was very good and the soup was very spicy and tasty. The dumplings are available steamed with dipping sauce, fried, in the soup or in a chili sauce with onions and peppers. Next up was the Pani Puri, which are like small open topped dumplings filled with potato, sprouts, onions, seasoning and served with a very light soup/broth on the side. These were tasty treats and more filling then they looked, a really nice mix of Indian and Nepali flavors.Last, was the Chatpate which is a flavorful mix of puffed rice, onions, peas, This was a nice contrast of flavors and textures, plus I got the "snack" size and it was a very generous portion. Really good and something a bit different. When ordering I choose the "hot" option on all of the items since I enjoy spicy food; the food was about as hot as I like so be careful, they are doing the spice levels that they enjoy and have not brought them down to American levels. Flavors are a bit different then most Asian cuisines, although you will find some Indian flavors. I will highly recommend that you give P.K. Curry House a try for some really good food from a cuisine that is just becoming trendy. Some really good flavors and textures, definitely try the Momos in a version that sounds good to you.

We got veggie momos in soup, paneer tikka masala, and chicken vindaloo and everything was incredible. The portions are large and the flavoring is great. Chicken was very tender and flavorful, paneer and veggies were perfectly cooked, momos were like beautiful little flavor pockets and went very well with the flavorful soup sauce option. The spice level is customizable, we love the medium and hot levels and the amount of flavor that comes with the spice! This is my favorite Indian and Nepalese in Cleveland, you've gotta try it!
