Oscar's Pizza & Pierogies

My favorite pizza place closed down before Covid. Then I found another spot I was happy with for a while but it's not the same anymore so I had been looking for a new pizza place and decided to give Oscar's a try. I've been here twice now and the food and service have been consistently excellent. The first time I went I saw them making fresh balls of pizza dough - they make it daily along with their pierogies. I've ordered a large double pepperoni pizza with the garlic parm flavored crust. It's just what I've been looking for in a pizza - flavorful sauce and a good thin but chewy crust. I have had the hot bbq wings both times too. They are good cooked perfectly but they could kick up the heat on this flavor a little. My second time ordering I was able to get a few pierogies - they often run out. These were pretty good - I think they were potato and cheese flavor. Overall, I'm very happy with Oscar's and I'm glad I gave them a try!

Bomb *ss pizza and bomb *ss ribs. Period. This pizza place is attached to Avenue Tap House in Lakewood. We love our late night pizza here. We always order a cheeseless pizza late at night after drinking...we absolutely love the crispy pepperoni; we sometimes get pepperoni, pineapple, and bacon...I know, it's a weird combination but it's delicious! We usually order the same thing every tome but we changed it up tonight BEFORE cocktails. We got the 1/2 order of ribs and 5 chicken wings with honey mustard. Delicious! The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was really good! I requested the wings extra crispy and they were perfect. We may have found our new favorite late night food besides their pizza!!! Brian & Melissa are amazing people too!!! Happy to see their business doing well!

GREAT! OSCAR'S IS GREAT! Why, do you ask? I'LL TELL YOU -1. THE PIZZA PIE TASTES GOOD. Crust is thick but not TOO thick. Good cheese to sauce ratio. Not overly greasy. 2. THE PRICE IS RIGHT. Cheapest, best pie around.3. STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND PROMPT. It's got a neighborhood feel, like maybe one day they'll know my face when I'm not mask covered and say "Hey Rach! Has your stye cleared up yet?" Never have to wait more than 20 mins for a pie. Oscar's has brought me much joy during covid lockdown no fun times. THANK YOU OSCARS.:)

Oscars came thruuuuuuu for us. We got totally screwed with door dash at another restaurant (not the restaurants fault, poor things) so we walked across the street to give Oscars a try. They. Did not. Disappoint. Y'all that pizza was ON POINT. Should have just gone there in the first place. Can't wait to try the pierogis next!! These guys just opened up in the midst of the pandemic so if you can, go support them :) they rock and we want them to stick around!!

So ordered wings (spicy garlic), 2 Pizza's and cheesey garlic sticks All three people that ate, and myself all agreed; It was all real dam good! Will be putting in another order this weekend. Good job guys, keep it up!

Had the burger (with fries) and some deep fried pickle chips. With extra ranch. Later went for some single slices of pepperoni pizza (two slices) on the way out. 2 person party on a metal show night, so we got it fresh. Better than these jokes of a rating list "top burgers" or "pizza in Ohio." I've been all around Ohio and they aren't ish. Seriously good burger, no criticisms. Seriously good fries, no criticisms , expect I would like more (because who wouldn't). Enough to fill you up more than enough. Seasoned perfectly. Pizza is just as good, under carriage (none of that thin crispy NY style B.S.; great sauce, great flowing cheese, even the crust (which is the easiest to throw away on pizza) is great - it feels like a part of the pizza not just what's leftover from it. It actually makes me mad how good the food was because it was unexpected and I expected expensive bar food that was over priced, except it was a separate restaurant that was attached, with a little gourmet pricing that actually crushes the gourmet-price expectation. Worth it. Sides of ranch and ketchup great too. Can't wait to see what else might be good, they can't have other food menu items in a different category that are also great, can they? Well will see.

Excellent pizza! (I highly recommend adding the honey sriracha sauce too! ) There are other food options, but I haven't tried them yet, and will update my review when I do. :-)

Totally one of my favorite places for pizza and wings. Everything they make is from scratch, and they are very reasonably priced for what you get. Its Lakewoods hidden gems for some of the best pizza around. Their taco pizza and mashed potato pizza is out of this world. They also usually have a special pizza of the week.

Great pizza, great pierogies, great service. This is my weekend go-to. If you walk up and order you can grab a beer at the bar it's connected to.
