Osaka Sushi House & Bar

This place is a true gem. It is honestly some of the best sushi I've had, and I've had a lot. The rice ratio is perfect. Osaka is hidden in a city called Madison that is small and far from everything. I was here for work and my hotel happen to be 5 mins away. I ate here everyday for a week. My go to is the Rainbow roll, Philly, Cali and Village. All were perfect. I also like the black widow, which is their version of a Spider roll. Everything tasted fresh and fish slices were thick. Service was quick. I can't really complain bc every time I went, it didn't seem busy. It's a small town so of course, I didn't expect to see large gatherings or crowded dining rooms. The ambiance kind of threw me off, I do wish it had more of an Asian feel. Asian music or maybe even movies on the TVs that were at the table. Either way I fell in love with this place and would definitely return. I hope they do well and get busier!

I heard about this restaurant from family, and decided to give it a try. We were immediately welcomed, making the experience positive from the start. There is always something to look at, but the restaurant is in no way overwhelming. They have a variety of food options, and I was happy to be able to access much of the menu as it wasn't all reliant on real crab. We absolutely loved the Dinosaur Eggs appetizer, and their sushi is so fresh all around. The specialty Spicy Girl roll was outstanding as well, being a dish that could be shared (if you so choose!). We were also surprised by the udon they made in house; the two ordered by my party smelled so good and were good enough to take home and eat the next day. We plan to go back for udon and potentially the sushi appetizers. I really have no complaints--the food was excellent and the service was very pleasant.

This place has wonderful food and amazing presentation... Looks and taste great. I usually just DoorDash, but the service at the restaurant is phenomenal

Mmmmm ahhhhhh fresh sushi with an adorable staff, in a fabulous main street, small town location. A short walk down the sidewalk leads to a magnificent mulberry tree that colors the sidewalk in glorious berry-blues in the summertime. This is a delightful area for a weekend or a mid-week getaway... say hello to Rainbow and Ryan for me. A sushi coffeehouse vibe, if you can imagine that. (And they play Radiohead softly in the background. Triple win.)

House special Angry Tuna was tremendous. Taste of Tuna followed the flavor of jalapeños.

This is the best sushi we have ever had. Fish is extremely fresh. Rolls are generous in portion. Staff is efficient and fun. Vibe is casual and cool. A good bar menu as well. We love Osaka and visit at least every other week. These repeat customers are never disappointed

So freakin delicious! From vegetarian potstickers to sushi this place has it all! Great service, amazing friendly staff and delicious food. I can not say enough great things about there selection of food! Will definitely be back if I am in the area.

Ordered on door dash and said food would take an hour, no problem. 2 1/2 hours go by and dasher is sitting there waiting and still nothing. I called and got told hold on and then the lady put me in her pocket or something because I could hear her taking an order. It was like that for 5 minutes so I hung up ans went to call back and it says the voice mailbox is not set up, it doesn't even ring.

The sushi was fresh and the taste was spot on I will definitely enjoy this food and restaurant again the rolls were fantastic

Had my best friend from colleges birthday Dinner at this lovely family owned restaurant! We had a wonderful server who was very friendly and punctual, our food came out perfect timing as well and was Devine. my friend and I both ate it all. we had a table full of food gone lol. Definitely will be returning! Go Now! 10/10 all around.
