Ørchard Farm Stand

Great meat but the fish is swimming in so much sauce you cannot taste it. Too cute by half.

Visiting for drinks and dinner. We found seats quickly and the waiter showed up immediately to get drink orders. Those showed up quickly, what didn't show up were any kind of water for the table, we had to ask. Atmosphere was nice when we arrive but shortly after a live musician started playing, it was so loud our waiter could barely hear us order our food. Our group got an assortment, burgers, pizza. Salad. Majority of the food was decent. Their burger special came out with ice cold "special truffle fries"- which our waiter was kind enough to replace after we asked. Overall not sure I would visit again, maybe on a night with no live music.

I'm stretching to give 3 stars which are solely based on the atmosphere and tasty unique drinks. Service at the front bar on an early Saturday afternoon was poor at best. Waiting almost 20 mins for service that only came because a regular yelled at a bartender to get his attention. I had been making eye contact and raising my hand several times prior to that. The bar was maybe 1/2 full. We saw several upset customers getting slow service and no plates or silverware when food was delivered. We've had many good experiences here....I guess it comes down to who's working the bar when you sit down.

I definitely will have to see the atmosphere is amazing. Kind of a cross between a farm/winery, beautiful outdoor deck. they have a couple of fire pits and a water fountain on the back deck definitely a place for a date. Staff is friendly and the service was very quick I was surprised. The food was hot fresh and just cooked. Amazing. I had the burger and today they had dollar wings so I had to try the peach buffalo. I would highly recommend it. Definitely will be returning soon.

Update - I wrote my review about the Farm Stand in the off season (honestly the best time to visit Catawba Island these days...) The service that I've been receiving at the Farm Stand hasn't been up to the quality they are putting out. A couple weeks ago we waited an HOUR for to-go sandwiches & sides. This past weekend, I decided to give it another shot and order a breakfast sandwich to go (mind you there was ZERO people in line so I took the risk). Waited another 35 mins for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. My advice, if you want come out here to eat & visit, be sure to leave ample time OR call in your order ahead of time.

Gorgeous, really cool venue. We went for breakfast and the food was phenomenal. Lots of coffee drinks to choose from too and service was great! Would go back at night for a different experience.

The food was pretty good but not great. Service was better then most places these days. Not sure about the serving dishes and plastic utensils for the price you're paying. Also a bit confused about the 2.5% non gratuity service fee. We were told it was for the lawn maintenance and kitchen help. Nice atmosphere, but for a $40+ lunch for 2, I would expect more than throw away cups, plates, and utensils.

Love the ambiance, the staff and the food. There's no better conglomeration on the island. It continues to grow-never disappoints. The property is breathtaking.

As a local who chooses a plant based diet, it really sucks when Orchard doesn't have ONE vegan or vegan option on their menu. They used to have a vegan sandwich but I guess they don't care about people wanting healthy food options because it was taken off and nothing else was added. Such a shame because we used to frequent this place fairly often but haven't bothered since they cater to meat, meat and more meat. We go to Twin Oast and Gideon Owen instead.
