The one thing they do well here is they make fresh cut in house fries. The other thing they do right is 2 of their barbecue sauces are lower sugar five and six added sugar. We saw the pork was frozen in blocks and heated up. The pulled chicken I had was covered in gravy. I thought it would come plain since I said NO sauce and was told all the sauces come on the side. Green beans are canned and just heated up. Someone else in our party has the ribs. They were hard and the meat did not fall off the bone. He didn't even eat them. He only had one.

Tasty barbecue as expected at any Carolina Barbecue location and ambiance is as expected for the chain. The main reason for 3 stars was the service when ordering was not great. The restaurant was nearly empty and the workers were more interested in their paperwork than taking an order. When we were ready to order the worker had a bit of a snarky attitude like we were interrupting them.

This was my first time here after seeing it so many times! Honestly one of the top 3 barbecue spots I've been to in the area, I got a bunch of sides and the pulled pork sandwich and everything was delicious. The customer service there was amazing, fast paced and friendly crew. Will be going back and showing my friends and family!

Food is always amazing here. I have fibromyalgia I wasn't able to walk or eat really the past few days cuz I was in so much pain. I forced myself to go out and eat yesterday and sit down somewhere. I decided to come here. The people were so kind to me and treated me very well. The kindness made me feel so good after horrible few days of pain. David and I are partial to Old Carolina as our first real date involved him pretended that he wasn't going to eat a whole rack while watching me knock back two. Love at second rack!(He ordered more after that and we laughed.)...but... and this is huge... Not only do the have an extended gluten-free menu-- they are able and willing to make celiac safe meal preparation. Happily you will be told about their precautions and happily you will eat some of the best ribs anywhere without worrying about getting glutened.(Fresh cutting board, utensils, gloves etc.)(The ribs are St. Louis pork ribs and they are heaven on a metal platter.)

The Wednesday $20 family pulled pork dinner deal is a pretty good deal. We got the hush puppies, coleslaw and buns. A nice option for barbecue.

Service was awesome. Was my first time eating there they helped me with the menu and free drink. Food was really good! The chicken wings were so good they didn't even need sauce, the brisket and ribs were super tender and cooked perfect. Highly recommend trying this place out.

The nicest customer service I have received in years. I am just a girl in Kent going to college I went in because barbecue sounded good. I've never been there before and the man who I presume is the manager explained everything to me he was so so nice and as I was leaving the girl who gave me my food, did it with a smile and on top of that the pulled pork is absolutely delicious, along with everything else I got.
