Oak + Olive

Stopped in for Ladies Night Out and had the most amazing experience. Upon entering the restaurant I was wisked away to a private area that featured a dim lit rustic seating area. For a starter beverage I selected the Black Widow which arrived in a Smokey Briefcase. My friend ordered the Cereal & Milk which was a play on a lunch time favorites such as pizza, chips, rice crispy treats and cereal and milk. For small bites we selected an order or Bruschetta, Calamari and my personal favorite was the Stuffed Peppers. We also enjoyed a round of Espresso Martinis and opted for the Smores and Salated Carmel flavors. We received excellent service. We were checked on multiple times through the night. Our table was cleared promptly and overall it was a perfect evening to relax and unwind with friends!!

My husband and I would probably give this place 4.5 stars if we could. We've been several times at this point. First off, the atmosphere is very moody and cozy. A lot of speakeasy's opening up feel pretentious and like they're trying too hard, but that's definitely not the case at Oak and Olive. The back room is thoughtfully decorated with old looking books and even has a few 2 person tables where a curtain at the table provides privacy from others if desired. The bar area is also very attractive. In regards to service, the servers were all super friendly and helpful with drink recommendations. I love the Grey Tea Bella which originally was served with a macaron. The last time or two I went, I didn't receive the macaron, which was a definite bummer. The expresso martini flight is a great concept and delivers on taste! We really enjoyed the pizza cupcakes and the creativity behind such a menu offering. The only downside is that we haven't been overly impressed with the pizzas thus far. This place is a gem, and perfect for a special night out or any night out you want a tasty cocktail served up with innovative presentations!

Our first time checking out this new speakseasy and definitely not our last. The food was amazing and the drinks were served with a fun, unique twist. Everything was designed to give you a memorable experience. From the presentation to the conversations with the staff, we very much enjoyed our visit. Can't wait to try the other options when we come back!

I wish I could give five stars because it is such a cool idea and the drinks/food were great. However, we waited about an hour to get in and then purchased two drinks each with some food. We were there just over an hour when we got our bills and paid. We were finishing our last few bites of food when a waiter awkwardly asked us to hurry and leave because their wait list for others was over two hours long. I was stunned. We waited just as long and felt like I was being treated like a squatter after paying a $60 tab.
