Nouveau Bistro & Lounge

Andrew surprised me with reservations for my birthday! I never heard of Nouveau before, but it easily became one of our favorite restaurants in Lake County. Our reservation was for Friday at 7pm, but it was surprisingly noisy. There were quite a few guests at the bar, but I wouldn't say it was overcrowded. For drinks, Andrew ordered the Passionfruit Spritz and I ordered the Boozy Blueberry. We also ordered the banana peppers for an appetizer. We love stuffed peppers so this was the perfect way to start our evening. I ordered the filet mignon and I believe Andrew ordered the Ribeye, which was a special that night. Our meals were wonderful and we talked about them for weeks. I'm so excited that we'll be back for Valentine's Day this year!

Another amazing biz travels random choice today. This time with Nouveau. I always sit at the bar and I'm always a pure carnivore. This pork chop with a cherrywood smoked/grilled flavor was on point! My bartender Kristy provided epic service, great recommendations, and I had the bar space practically to myself for smooth and easy ambiance.

Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I'm beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Came here for the first time on a date night. Atmosphere was great. Food was flavorful and had great presentation. Cozy fine dining experience with laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great food, ambiance and service. I entertain my best customers there as it is always impressive and food spectacular. I've gotten the salmon and the short ribs in both were amazing. I highly recommend it.

It's been a few years since we've been here and we only live 3 miles away. We snagged two seats for happy hour after multiple attempts over the last few weeks (sporadic and last minute and now we know why!). The service was exceptional from the bartender to the meals. Took advantage of the HH specials and tried the lobster nachos and banana peppers. Was soo good and I love how you can try the apps in a smaller portion to see what you like for a full dinner experience. I ordered the French onion soup and it was out of this world. I order this anywhere I can - and this was by far one of the best I've ever had. I then ordered the half size of the tuna dinner and it was amazing. I wish I wasn't so full bc it was the perfect combination of flavors and the rice cake was exceptional. Hubby ordered the burger and loved it. We will definitely frequent more often. The atmosphere was great as were the customers/staff!!

Excellent location and very assessable. Very accommodating, good service, and food. A bit pricey.

Fine dining. You can also sit at the bar for a more casual feel. Pricey, but we like to go for special occasions. They have some value nights, I just don't recall what they are. The food has always been exceptional. The service has always been attentive. Give it a try.

The eastern suburbs of Cleveland are a little short on "fine dining" locations. We have a few, but not nearly what you can find in Cleveland proper or the west side. So when you find one you cherish it like a fine wine. And you hope it is not a fluke.Well such a place does exist in Concord at Rt 90 and Rt 44. As you approach you will see a large shopping center that doesn't necessarily smack of fine dining. You enter the center to find "Nouveau Bistro & Lounge" just a few doors down the line. Okay, so it's not the ambiance of Il Venetian or Chez Francois but trust me... give it a chance. When you enter and are greeted by a very pleasant and efficient hostess you will begin to change your mind.The establishment is nicely sized so there is no crowding but certainly adequate seating for a sizeable crowd. One thing I have become very sensitive to is noise level. I size that up as soon as I am seated. Well, this was very pleasant. Background noise and music was well balanced. Conversation around our table was effortless. One thing that did become quite apparent early on was the overwhelming air conditioning. I think it was set on "Arctic". No worries; a simple mention to our server and the problem was solved immediately... impressive. As you might guess from this comment, I was quite impressed with our server, Barb. She was friendly, easy going, very professional, responsive, and could take and deliver a joke. She was a very big part of a fine evening.The wine list is considerable with a wide selection. I enjoyed a marvelous Sangiovese. The menu is excellent. It has a nice selection to choose from without being overwhelming. I started with an excellent shrimp cocktail which included 6 - 3 bite shrimp and a very pleasant sauce with just enough kick. That was followed by 6 lamb pops that were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. This is the 3rd time I have had the lamb in this establishment and it has been perfect every time. This was no accident. The chef is exceptional and consistent. Finally we had our coffee, which was just right. Followed by a marvelous chocolate peanut mousse. Perfect finish.Well, all you east siders; there is absolutely no excuse not to go out for a fine meal. The right establishment is right there in Concord. Take your special someone and enjoy. I guarantee you will.

Giving this place 5 stars!!!! We went here yesterday for dinner since they had just reopened after being closed because of state mandated closures for covid-19. The staff was really friendly, and every one had their masks on and you can tell they were following all the social distancing guidelines so that was a huge plus.They have a beautiful outdoor patio! It was getting a little chilly and our waiter was kind enough to bring the heater over. My husband got their tomatoe bisque and lamb rack which was delicious and I got their CAB burger without the bun which was just as good and my burger came with an amazing jalapeno relish. Bathrooms are always an issue for me but it was so clean at this place and I was really happy about it. Can't wait to go back here again with our friends.
