Stopped in because I was in the area and wanted a beer. I got the Apple Boomer and omg!! I ended up buying a four pack to take home as well. I sat outside and it's lovely patio, the road to one side and train tracks and the bike trail to the other. They have a water station inside, and ample seating inside. They do not have food, FYI.

North Water Brewing did not disappoint! The location and atmosphere of this quaint brewery located in Kent were both Welcoming and authentic. I sampled 4 beers in my flight and enjoyed each. The body, flavor, and finish of all beers were fantastic. The only thing that could be improved is a food menu addition. I would've stayed longer if there had been any appetizers or small plates.

This is my other home brewery. Love it. Constantly adding things to calendar for locals to participate in. Upgraded interior. Rotating trucks. Live music. Rotating beers and drinks. Even local artist work. Part of Dora. Fan of the IPA's. I won't say I like every single beer because most people don't at places they go, but they have something for everyone and it just seems to keep improving. Better get there before winter hits to enjoy the lovely patio. See you there.

We went here for a pre-valentines day dinner drink. I was pleasantly surprised to see the menu had 6-7 beers brewed right there, their own brand. We're often more wine than beer people, so we kept it pretty light with trying their 2 current IPAs, their blonde, and then my husband picked the Smokey pale ale. All were enjoyable, though the smokey one really tasted quite smokey, which was cool, but not to my taste. The interior is awesome with the brewing equipment visible. You order at the counter and pick from an assortment of high tops, tables, or bar area. There was even a group outside next to a heater bundled up, even though it was 25 degrees out!I know this place is new and I'm Sure they have a food plan to roll out, but my 4 star review is because there isn't any food here. Now again, we knew we were going to dinner after going here anyhow but when you're offering beer, some of which are heavy stouts, you've got to at least have some basic finger foods. Chips, pretzels, flatbread, etc. we did see a table with hot pretzels and cheese cups but we also saw a table with Burger King so they clearly allow you to bring food in, but if you don't know that beforehand, it might be a bummer to show up, order some beers, and not have anything to go with them after a few. And honestly, it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something to soak it up! They'll profit more by having a few food options for sure. Hope to visit again come spring to sit on the pretty patio, at which point I can hopefully update my review to a 5!

Actually, the beers are pretty decent, it's the lack of service/friendliness that warrants a 2. The short, curt answers with no smile, almost yelling, but not quite, with no explanations was over the top. While the bartender was alone and busy, I was the only one in line. I can give grace for that, but since I was the only person in line, she could have responded differently. I actually gave her a couple of chances since i do this for a living. I do secret shopping for so many restaurants, so this comes second nature to me. Service can make or break a restaurant, and good beer cannot overcome that.

Flights! You can get a sip of anything for 25 cents!! The flights are a good deal. A few sandwiches stocked in case you get hungry. Sodas, too. You can see the whole brew area from the seating area. Love this! Had a big screen out for the Browns game. Everything is pleasant. Love the atmosphere here. Games out to play! None of the beers are bad but everything is a safe choice. Meaning there is nothing amazing but again, all good! Love the flight boards. Definitely worth the stop.

This is a pretty cool place that opened up about a year ago that's walking distance from our house. So, that automatically gives it a few points. The atmosphere is pretty cool for a brewery. It's really community-focused, which is cool because they're bringing in local musicians, food trucks, and other activities daily. The only reason for four stars instead is five, at this point, is that the beers aren't great yet for the cost. I think it will keep getting better the longer they're open. So, this review could get updated.

Had our first family gathering at a public inside location this past weekend and North Water Brewing was the perfect spot!! Very accessible for my dad and wonderful social distance & cleaning protocols so that we could enjoy our time out. We tried almost all of the beer styles and not a clunker amount them! We also enjoyed the Kitchen 212 food truck - quick and very tasty - especially the Midwest Nachos! We will be back! P.S. also love that they have Popped! Popcorn - the kids loved it and supporting other local biz!

One of the hidden gems in Kent. Quaint little place with the best beers around, we've never had a beer we didn't like. Has an almost relaxed "beachy" vibe to the atmosphere. No food but when they have food trucks, they're always great local places that you can get authentic tacos or BBQ from. The playlist is always on point. The beers always have such interesting flavors. Would highly recommend.
