Nick's Family Restaurant

Nice menu. Everything was cooked well. Just a wee bit too much "grease". Had a pork chop, sunny side up eggs and hash browns. Loved the idea of the hash browns. Too much "grease" for me. Eggs cooked perfectly. Pork chop was tasty. Less "grease" (oil) and it would be a 5. Service was nice. Bathroom did not work. Had to go to the dollar store if you needed to go.

If you've missed your Moms home cooking, this is the place. Nothing fancy, just a wide selection of most standards so your tummy feels like you just got a hug. Well priced, simple place with convenient hours. Recommended

The owners and staff here are just up right rude! From the food that I have tried I have never had any complaints. My husband and I have eaten here quite a few times and my alfredo was outstanding everytime. My husband likes to try something new everytime and always loves whatever he chooses. Especially their shrimp he says! On the down side our waitress this last time was very stuck up and snobby. She gave total attitude to the both of us when taking our order. My husband had made a comment to one of the older gentleman sitting at the table near us about how short she was being and he mentioned it's HER family's restaurant. After asking around I have continued to hear many of the same things about these girls. The whole family works there and unfortunately the waitresses seem to be very unwelcoming. We will definitely go back hoping to have better service because the chef is great!

Nick's food is so good fresh and hot love it will be going back the waitress was very nice very family restaurant but still very quiet a place you can go and don't have to dress up but still get a Excellent meal

Not very good.ordered sausage omelle dry rye toast.toast came heavy buttered. Omelle had a chunk egg shell. Sausage was tastless.potaoes were cold not crisp.

Pleasantly surprised with our first visit. Entrees included a salad bar and dessert. Our meals were enjoyed by all. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Nice place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends without feeling the need to hurry. Nick's will now be part of our "eat local" choice.

Nick's is always consistently good with reasonable prices and a large menu (including all day breakfast). Its a small place but they are friendly and efficient. Their Friday AYCE fish fry is very good...the cod is thick and mild tasting and their homemade mac and cheese as a side is very good. This is our choice for a decent, tasty meal out with family when not wanting to deal with the crowds or long wait times at most chain restaraunts. Definately recommend.

Food is Great.Sunday breakfast is a favorite of ours. Always treated with kindness like family atmosphere.

Nick's Family Restaurant is a good local restaurant. It's just as good as Anthony's and or "Golden Girls." As a matter of fact, both me and my roommate Mike prefer Nick's. Nicks offers nightly specials some of which are Excellent; chicken carbonara, beef tips over buttered noodles, Hungarian goulash, are my favorites. They have the absolute Best Grilled Chicken Salad, hard boiled eggs, onion, green pepper, tomato, cheese and croutons, to die for. I get poppyseed dressing for mine. The omelette scan be a little dry, I know to ask for it lightly cooked. I've had cold potatoes and I've asked them to be warmed in the microwave. They are very accommodating. I've had strip steak, prime rib and both were very good, not Morton Steak House good but better than the surrounding restaurants. The baked potatoes are always hot served with butter and sour cream. Every dinner is served with Soup AND Salad, vegetable, and Dessert.
