New Wong's Chinese Restaurant

Too much flour and sugar on the meat. The service is great. They can consider the customer's needs. But the environment is not attractive. Cold temperatures and sign on the door showed "no eating inside " The cardboard covered the table with some dust.

This is my go to place for Chinese food especially because it's in my neighborhood is even better so I don't need to venture to China town in Cleveland to get my Chinese food fix. Honestly, I feel like this restaurant just doesn't get the recognition it should. Being a daughter of a Chinese restaurant owner I always compare their food to others. This is the BEST Chinese restaurant in town! And I mean that! Willoughby/Wickliffe is lucky to have an amazing Chinese spot. Sorry but out of all the Asian restaurants I've tried in the area they just can't compete! New Wongs offers authentic Asian food as well as your typical Americanized Chinese dishes. The place may look like a hole in the wall but it's really a diamond in the rough. Their service is great! The server is always smiling and friendly and the food always comes out quickly! When my parents visited, even they approved of this place. We came for dinner and they loved it! The steamed tilapia was fresh! If you have never had Real Chinese food I encourage you to venture out and order something other than fried rice or sesame chicken. Although their sesame chicken is good I can vouch for that. They have pictures posted up of some of their more authentic dishes on the walls of their dining area. And who knows you might find your new favorite dish!

This restaurant is a hidden gem, until recently I had never been to this small quaint restaurant. Finally I decided to head in and I was pleasantly surprised at the service of the workers who were very friendly and provided exceptional customer service. I ultimately decided on carry out and had the Govenors chicken combination plate which was absolutely delicious and very fresh, I also had the crab rangoons which were simply amazing. If your looking for a very good Chinese restaurant this place is a gem and you won't be disappointed.

Pork fried rice has bean sprouts in it. Bland. Did not like the Egg roll. Another Chinese restaurant that's no good.

My wife and I really enjoy this restaurant. They have several authentic Chinese and taiwanese dishes as well as the American iced favorites. I always get the XO Japanese Tofu and the fried fish in hot oil dish (fish with chile and spice sauce). Definitely order from the pictures on the wall (that's the secret Chinese menu ;-))

I am not in the business of giving bad reviews.The food was hot and of good portions.Crab rangoon was 1/3 full tops. The provided accompanying sauce I found to be inedible.The egg roll was small crispy hot and delicious.The only bright spot of the meal unfortunately.General Tso's chicken had zero spice and little flavor.Imagine orange chicken with zero orange.Again portions were generous of the chicken and rice.Just not tasty.The 3 stalks of broccoli were well cooked and average plain taste.Unfortunately I shall not return as the egg roll was the only thing i finished.The greatest portion of chicken and rice dish found file13.So sad as I've been craving General Tso's.Sorry for the less than stellar review but that was my Saturday evening dinner experience.

Great flavors. But since Covid the price has went up and the meat inside dishes have been far and few in between. Ordered three different beef dishes and two chicken dishes. I would say about 1 oz of meat. Pathetic

Great tasting takeout! Very generous portions what more can you ask for. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant!

Excellent, hard working family who puts passion dedication into making great tasting carry out fir its customers with more than generous serving sizes as you can see from my yummy Szechuan chicken with a side of lO Mein..this is just the lunch portion.. I like the food there. and I like the atmosphere when I walk in, and also i like the people who work there also. the food is laid out just right. beautiful job.
