The food was fresh, flavourful, unique, and fillingThe place is low key but cleanOur waitresses was super friendly and recommended several good dishes to order. Will definitely go again. Be careful with spice level. Go with zero if you don't eat spicy.

Napali Kitchen delivers a culinary voyage with their 5-star fare. From the flavorful Chicken Chow Mein to the tantalizing Chicken Tikka, every dish boasts authenticity. The modest interior doesn't overshadow the outstanding taste. Vegetable Pakora, Vegetable Momos, and Mango Pickle further elevate the experience. Takeout is a gem if you prefer coziness. I recommend enjoying with friends so you can try several dishes "family style." Warning: They take spice seriously! The North Hill neighborhood has been a home for waves of immigrants and refugees since 1916, when the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) founded the International Institute of Akron (IIA). This local nonprofit organization welcomes new Americans to the U.S., and while the first groups welcomed were Italian (including my Great Grandma), IAA has now resettled more than 1,500 Nepali refugees.Walking around the neighborhood, you'll hear dozens of languages from the people of Nepal, Afghanistan, and the Democratic-Republican of the Congo. Stop in the neighborhood's plentiful international markets (North Hill African Market is a favorite). And check out the art of local artist, first-generation immigrant, and photojournalist Shane Wynn, who has captured the growing and vibrant community: https://www.shanewynn.com/Fine-Art/North-Hill-portrait-series/thumbs @shanewynnphotography

This is my kind of joint! No fuss, no frills, kind of hole in the wall establishment where a lot of natives eat at! Yet they still have a front entrance/waiting area, parking lot and real paper menus. Menu selection is very big and everything was reasonably priced. Taste and presentation were spectacular. Our server was nice, friendly and got everything right. Speed of dishes was slower to come out considering we were the only other couple. Lighting was iffy and the tables and chairs were kind of greasy but it adds to the authentic ambiance. The lamb came out a bit dry but it tasted great mixed with all the other sauces and curries so no worries. Sad that their rice pudding was out (seems every Asian restaurant I've been to in the last 3 months has been out of sticky rice...) but I would totally come back!

Yum!!! Everything we had here was great. Small little family owned restaurant. When you first come in, there is a bell to ring to be seated if no one is up at the counter. They have a pretty simple menu. We ordered the onion app (can't recall the name) and it came with this spicy dipping sauce. So good! Then did the chicken chow mein and curry. Everything was fantastic and tasty. I loved the curry! I did med hot but could have made it even spicier. Parking was all street but easily accessible all front. They also seem to do more take outs. If you stumble upon this place, def try it!

Great no-frills place for some authentic Nepali food. I love their special khana : I would recommend getting a lunch khana here some day: be careful with the spice level here.

I don't mean to be rude but this place is gross. From the food to the floors. I probably won't be back here. The chicken masala tasted weird and was way too spicy for a beginner. I recommend you go somewhere else sorry.

A little Nepali gem hidden a bit north of Akron. Yesterday was my first time visiting here despite having lived in northeast Ohio for over four years now. The food was absolutely delicious. I really wish I had visited this place earlier, but better late than never I suppose.I ordered the chicken tikka, the vegetable pakora, and a mango lassi. They were all very delicious. The chicken in the chicken tikka tasted a lot better than most of the Indian spots around here and the curry was seasoned well and not too creamy. The vegetable pakora were well fried and crispy and the sauce that came with it was very delicious. Mango lassi tasted like any other mango lassi, but still delicious nonetheless. My friends got the chow mein. I tried a couple bites and it was very delicious as well. Some extra comments about this place is that their interior is very modest and a bit crowded, so if you think you'll be uncomfortable dining in, order to go. Their spice scale is very real so don't order a 4 or 5 unless you want some heat. I love spicy food and got the 4, but it definitely wrecked some havoc on my stomach afterwards. Such a wonderful experience for my tastebuds though so I will be visiting again soon!

Also I had the samosas which was big and filling and came with a soup like dipping sauce yummy I took a pic of samosas wish I took a pic of the chicken curry but I can't lie I ate it!!! Lol
