Pretty good live music venue w/reasonably priced drinks & good staff. Supposed to hold 400 people, so not huge, but decent place. Good sized stage to get up next to the band. Clean, open atmosphere. Good place to see live music.

Saw The Fixx here 9-19-2014.Never been here before. Very close intimate venue. Bartenders were all great. Had the Meet & Greet part as well. I would like to say they do need better lights during this part. It went smoothly other wise. The Fixx show was amazing. I was right up front and felt like I was having my own private party :) Really glad to see them finally and all the good stuff you hear about them is true. Also, saw every one but Cy Curnin after the show. All were very sweet to have pics taken and only on 4 hours of sleep with no food. I cannot wait to see them again and hope they come back to Musica. If another band comes here I want to see will also venture back here.Have not tried the food, so maybe next time. All the drinks were good. Tried my first Gimlet here and liked it enough to order again. Wines where good too. I stay away from Beer so cannot comment on what they had.

This is one of my favorite places to play music as well as watch a show. The atmosphere is a lot more snazzy than the majority of local venues in the Cleveland/Akron area. It is very clean and there is a nice bar with a decent alcohol selection. As far as the stage goes, there are ample electrical outlets and it isn't too big or too small. Also, the sound has been consistently good which is a major plus for me. Another cool thing about this place is that they have a small walk-up restaurant in the venue, which always has a tasty selection. They have different things to try every time I'm there. If you want to play there, be prepared to sell pre-sale tickets. The management is pretty strict on this policy, just a word of warning.

Mocha Maiden has great coffee and friendly baristas. No too cool attitude here, which is refreshing. A comfortable, laid back environment with an art gallery upstairs and a music space with live entertainment attached. What I like is the diversity of musical acts and events that Musica presents.

I saw a band play here at night. The space is small and hard to find (I don't live in Akron so maybe that's it.)No complaints, nothing to rave about. Based upon the other review I would like to come back during the day or evening and try their coffee/barista based products.

The area has a cool vibe, the city block this place is located on is a hot spot, but parking is awkward and not conducive for anyone who's not used to driving in a busy downtown area. Also I felt (my opinion) that the beer/wine/drink list being written out in semi-sloppy hand writing on a chalk board behind the kinda small crowded corner bar made my drink ordering experience less than desirable. Also they have a $10 minimum on tabs and just asking to pay for 1 drink (under $10) on a card seemed to confuse the bar tender, she kept asking if I wanted to open a tab because I'd have to order more drinks. (It was just me at an after party...)This place reminded me a little of its neighbor Crave, in that it just feels a little too "forced."With that said, the food I had was great. And if there had been live entertainment when I was there it might have helped loosen up the vibe. Worth re-visiting on a busy night when there's music but not the best choice for a non-show related gathering.

Great place to see bands in Akron. Reminds me of the old Daily Double. For a smaller venue it is definitely a nice one. Amazing beer selection, and the decor is pretty awesome, got that rustic feel to it. Nice location and parking isn't too bad. Staff is super friendly!!

My wife and I saw Lee Dewyze last night. His performance was great. I talented guitarist. Sadly the sound was blaring when Lee sang loud and strong. Talked to the sound man after the show. He was told by the management there to "crank it up". Very bad judgement. I doubt if we ever come back. Let the artist run the show.

Saw Samantha Fish at Musica 8/17/2018. Can't believe such a fantastic performer was playing in our backyard. The venue was perfect for this artist, as the room is small, the stage well lit and the sound was perfect. We did not have the problem with the bar/bartenders that others have posted, maybe they changed employees or took the critical reviews seriously ?Only $20 a ticket for a world class blues and R&B performer ! Excellent night of entertainment and the venue was great. Will definitely go back.do

Loved playing here but the woman bar tending tonight was probably the most rude bartender I've ever interacted with. When I, or anybody else asked for a water she rolled her eyes and sighed. Constantly complained about how busy she was, told me after I started my tab that they don't give musicians a discount anymore even though a different employee told me otherwise. Greeted us with "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Multiple times. I'mNot one to normally write reviews but this experience was bad. It's a shame because the venue rules and the sound is awesome.
