Mugs Restaurant

Stopped in for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. It was packed but we got right in. The waitress was awesome and funny! I love it when they can joke with me. We had the breakfast skillet and the Mug's mess. The skillet was good but I wish it had the same potatoes as the mess. It has almost a tater tot like has brown. Still good though. The mess was great. Hearty. Both had toast that was very good. The place was wide open and not too loud.

Yelpers, look at the age of the 4 to 5 star reviews before making a decision. I found the place to appear rundown. After being ignored by three servers for literally five minutes, I got up & left so cannot give an opinion on the food. Unfortunately, there are few options in Jefferson.

Great spot! I give it five stars!!! We sauntered on in for lunch and were seated right away by a server who was warm and friendly, even greeting my colleague by name. It was the first time for me.We quickly were serviced our beverages which I had coffee and ice water. The coffee was hot, fresh, but I've had better. I think it was probably store bought and nothing special but it was good.I went with the Ruben which was - outstanding! This place is VERY REASONABLY PRICED and I was pleasantly shocked at how affordable this diner was. My Ruben was delicious and I definitely plan on returning again and again whenever I'm in town.

Great food and service, was decent busy. Still got everything on time and still hot.The hash browns were frozen.but otherwise it was great!!

You know the place is good. I would go back for seconds, maybe. This is good food for those that are looking to fill themselves up after a day of work or maybe just from a hangover. Its not like I would not go back, its just that I am sure you can find something else to eat. They cook good food for a small town, it could just use a little less frozen food and a little more fresh.

Very good breakfast and wonderful service staff. I have never had their lunch and I hear they only recently began serving dinner. Reasonably priced meals and much better quality than surrounding establishments, in my opinion. The inside is clean with booths against the walls and table/chair arrangement in the center of the dining area. They have paintings decorating the walls that are for sale. They would have received 5 stars for their area but they only accept cash or checks. I was not aware of this until they presented me with the check and found it extremely inconvenient to have to leave my wife at the table while I drove to the local ATM. Now that I am aware of this, I will be sure to bring cash with me for future visits.

Breakfast or lunch, this place never disappoints. Service is friendly. Very casual diner atmosphere. We love Mugs.

Not many restaurants in the area open on Mondays...we saw the "open" sign at Mugs and we are glad we stopped. The portions are more than generous! Food was really good for a good price. Look forward to going back.
