Mr. Wonderful's Chicken & Waffle

Outstanding restaurant with good food that'll have your stomach feeling good. Might even take a nap afterwards. I always get either the whiting meal with greens and Mac or the chicken and waffles. You gotta top off with a jar of delicious kool aide. Sometimes the service can be rather slow but what do you expect with something so good. Staff is normally incredible.

My coworker Had got us takeout of 1 waffle/ 2legs/ 1 thigh. The chicken was pretty good, nice amount of breading. The waffle tasted cinnamon forward. The cost was great. Service was pretty good, made to order.

I'm at work and we were just talking about restaurants who still give good customer service and we all unanimously agreed that this is one of a few.I frequent them and not only is the food consistently good, but so is the service. One thing...if they're busy, expect a long hold time on the phone.Prices are about the same as everyone else's, but the wings are large, the sauce choices slap, the menu has variety and they are NEVER out of anything!Want some good food? I highly recommend MRW's!!

The food is to die for! It's honestly the only good restaurant in Maple Heights that isn't fast food. Even though Maple Heights is mostly a food desert, this is the one place I invite all non-locals too. I've had almost all of their dirty fries selection and their polish boys and each are always hot and delicious. It's honestly pleasure food-- heavy on the carbs but never greasy or leaving a bad feeling. The portions are all just big enough to leave a bite left over, and even though you're full you leave always wanting more for the next meal. It's undescribably delicious although you probably have to be a cheese enthusiast to enjoy most of their options. (If you aren't, I'd recommend basic fries slathered in Sweet Jesus sauce). There's parking, and everytime I've been there everyone is ALWAYS bright and amiable. The one down side, which got especially worse with the pandemic is the wait time, but they're very upfront about it and very accurate with their adjusted time. Even though they're fully staffed, it just takes time. You will never see someone on their cellphones or just working at 10%. Usually, it's best to order in person which has a 5-10 minute wait. Then it'll take no more then 20 minutes (which they can bring to your car). You can wait inside, but honestly... might as well just sit in your car comfortably. Additionally, it's faster to go in person to order versus on the phone/online. You might be on hold for a longer time unless you manage to catch them at a slow time (because truthfully they are always helping write in orders). I once called 10 mins before they opened (which they did pick up), but they were already slammed when I arrived.

Great food fried chicken and sides are just right. Soul food spot it's always good on Sunday!

Went here tonight to try them out. I saw many online reviews. Saying they were good and said it was worth the price. But, I not impressed. The chicken pieces are so small. They over cooked the chicken. The chicken was dry and rubbery. The side they offer are so small and over cooked.i orders a extra side of Mac and cheese. Was charged for it and never got it. Not work the 42 bucks I spent. I do not advise ordering here. You be disappointed.

Best pick-up option for food in the area. Chicken sandwiches are delicious, hot, and fair priced. Wish I'd tried it sooner! All the MHCS school staff will tell you it's a local gem - "you have to call in and pick up but it's SO worth it" is the refrain. Service is quick & friendly, too :)

This place is amazing. I first tried their chicken and waffles. And it was awesome. The chicken was well seasoned. And delicious. Today I tried their 1lb fish special. However I didn't want the fries so he was not considering the special. I wanted greens and yams. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Thank you Mr Wind

You call to place your order the guy will read order back to you but he put what he want in the system i placed my order at 345 pm they gave my wife bbo chicken when ask for sweet baby Jesus sauce it 440 pm now they said we wait on chicken all this for 1 wing dinner 3 extra wing it sad make really hard to support black business when treat people like this

I went in yesterday at 3:20 for a wing dinner. I was told it would be 25 minutes it took 50 minutes. The wings were so overcooked they were crunchy and greasy, if I didn't live 25 minutes away I would have returned them.
