This review is for cocktails while seated at the bar on Saturday night over Thanksgiving weekend.service: Our server was Alexandrea. She was incredible. Encyclopedic knowledge of serious cocktails. Excellent suggestions. Perfect balance between attentiveness and letting us be. In addition, she offered the outstanding suggestion of brunch at Wake Up and Waffle. bar: Although the space is relatively small, this is a fully equipped bar. Call out your best Charles H. Baker, Jr. concoction and I get the sense Alexandrea could put it together. My wife uses a Cosmo as her bellwether and Moseley's hit that perfect balance. My rye Manhattan was exceptional. In fact, I had two. Moseley's also had mulled wine and a handful of other winter warmers available thanks to snowstorm earlier in the day. details: Perhaps because this is a rooftop bar, the cocktails were served in plastic? To be fair, it was very nice plastic, but plastic none the less. Oh, and this is one small space. We were the only two at the bar and the outside seating was closed for the snowstorm. Can imagine it gets crowded at times.

We had a great time sitting by the fire with friends while watching Cedar Point and a distant thunderstorm over the lake. The rooftop was clean and nicely decorated for fall. The staff were friendly and attentive. The mixed drinks were well made and the they have a broad beer selection.Thank you for having us!

Moseley's is a classy spot in downtown Sandusky. While the rooftop wasn't open due to rain while I visited, the first floor bar was packed on the Sunday night I went. My friend and I got the last seat at the bar and decided to go with the Sunday special $16 bottomless mimosas. We also ordered churros. Our server was great and kept making us new mimosas. I liked that they offered mimosas with various juices - I had the traditional orange juice mimosa, but also a couple of pineapple mimosas.

Yup, go to the roof top. It is a lovely place to have a beverage!Go to the downstairs bar on Tuesdays for some amazing flights of Tequila.Kaz, the bartender on Tuesdays really knows his stuff!I wish they had a better rum selection, but The Volstead is just down the road for that sort of thing. But if a relaxed evening watching the sky go dark and having a great beverage is a thing... go here.

I've been to the rooftop bar many times over the years, and it tends to be a hit-or-miss experience. First off, it's extremely expensive (count on $5+ beers and $10+ mixed drinks). Second, it's very small, so it can be extremely difficult to even get a drink if it's busy. One thing that kills me is that there are only like 5 stools at the semi-inside bar, and the outdoor portion has like less than 10 tables, but small groups hog large tables so there's tons of empty chairs going to waste. It either needs to be reorganized to have more small tables and less big tables, or to have time limits on tables, or force small groups to merge together. It's infuriating not being able to get a seat and seeing groups of 2 people occupying tables that hold 4+ people, and making people wait 2 hours for said table while they take one sip out of their drink every 30 minutes. The other day the largest table was occupied by a group of 3 people, with plenty of vacant seats going to waste. Very frustrating. Overall, it needs a new layout or new rules in order to allow more people to actually be able to sit outside.

The Rooftop Bar craze is something I've heard about but not actually experienced, since I don't live in a crowded urban area. Luckily, was able to stop in at Moseley's while strolling around downtown Sandusky while the kids were riding coasters at Cedar Point.Moseley's is really a three-piece operation. There is the downstairs bar on the 1st floor, the adjacent gourmet taco restaurant, and then the rooftop bar on the 4th floor. The rooftop bar features a bartender and a stripped down set of offerings, with only 1 beer on tap. However, you are allowed to bring up anything you buy on the first floor to the rooftop. My wife and I decided to get tacos downstairs and then get drinks upstairs since the bartender was a friendly guy.Tacos--fish tacos are excellent, as were the chicken. A little pricey at $4 each but these were not roadside tacos. Lots of complementary flavors and very fresh. Most people choose to drink downstairs in the main bar, which has greater selection, but we enjoyed the view of the harbor and the company of the bartender upstairs.

Amazing spot. Thanks for helping to make Sandusky great again. The salsa verde here is the best I've had. Mexico, Caribbean, south, no verde compares to this one. Guacamole is a lil flat, but no complaints. Vegan so very few options but I admire the cocktails and a double helping of verde! Kudos!
