Moosehead Hoof & Ladder is a hidden gem we stumbled upon after our first choice was busier than a beehive in summer. This former fire station has been transformed into a cozy cabin-style eatery that's as clean as a whistle and spacious enough to host a small wedding--though I wouldn't recommend that.We were greeted and seated faster than you can say "fire truck," and our server, Jessica, took our orders with the speed of a speeding bullet. Our appetizers arrived quickly, and let me tell you, the Spinach Artichoke Dip was generously portioned, served with homemade tortilla chips and pita triangles that practically begged to be devoured.Once we finished the dip and soup, our main courses arrived without delay. The MooseBerry salad could easily feed a small family, while the Philly sandwich made my stomach sing a heartfelt "thank you." And that burger? It looked like it just stepped off the grill at a backyard BBQ.So if you find yourself in Olmsted Falls and want to "accidentally" discover a delicious meal like I did, make your way to Moosehead Hoof & Ladder. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

We were advised by a friend to stop in, and we're so glad we did. The service was great, and the decor is very interesting. The restaurant is situated in a converted firehouse and has plenty of seating. Food was great. They have a hot cookie for dessert that looks amazing too, next time.

Usually won't go to restaurants with 3.5 stars but since it was open for New Year's Eve and walking distance from my home, I decided to bring my out of state parents here. We were impressed with the food! The chili, the burger and the ribs were really good. Our waitress Jessica was super nice and on top of everything. We loved it here!

We get takeout from here often. But lately, they refuse to take the order. We planned the entire evening with this place in mind. If they are changing their business model just say so. But arbitrarily they change their response. This is unacceptable. No more business with them.

We come here frequently for lunch. They have a great buffalo chicken salad and service is always quick. I enjoy the themed decor and the view of the falls.

Loved the old fire house renovation. Very casual and upbeat. We sat upstairs. I had the pulled pork sandwich no bun. Healthy portion. The bbq was excellent. I love the fact that you had many choices for your side which included a side salad vs the French fries. Service was attentive.

We had not been to Moosehead Hoof & Ladder in about 10 years. We were near there today and my husband suggested stopping for lunch. They were fairly busy for a Thursday, lunchtime. Our waitress was the perfect balance of super nice and very professional. I ordered the Moosehead Burger, which was a burger with grilled mushrooms and onions, cheese , tomato and lettuce. No exaggeration, this was the best burger I've had in years! It was cooked perfectly. It tasted like it was grilled outside. I loved it. I upscaled for onion rings instead of French fries. And they were very good. My husband, being vegetarian ordered the BBQ Portabella Mushroom Wrap. It was huge and he throughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend Moosehead Hoof & Ladder. We will definitely go back!

The manager, Tracey, was beyond unprofessional and treated us like we bothered her. It is a shame because my family enjoyed the place but her attitude will make us go elsewhere. if you're reading this Tracey, YOU decided to work in the service industry. Act accordingly.

The food was decent however the ambiance was lacking. Yes, the website makes it clear all people must be present to be seated on the patio and we were late meeting our friends BUT literally all tables were open except one on the patio. Okay, we will eat inside on this beautiful day. We were finished eating, got our bills and paid and wanted to have another drink or two on the NOW EMPTY patio. Nope, can't drink on the patio because it's going to be full soon. I have worked in restaurants and my husband's family has owned numerous restaurants---I can't believe they did not want 6 drinking adults who would have had at least one more drink each on their empty patio. We went to Gibbs Butcher & Brew where they were more than happy to let us purchase drinks and sit on their back patio. I do not recommend Moosehead Hoof and Ladder as this business model is ridiculous.

Food was delicious and we could not have asked for better service! The firefighter/firehouse decor was great for the kids and even found myself looking around to see everything.Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat!
