Always love the food from here! We've been doing carry out since the pandemic, and it's been great, and the quality has not went down at all! My personal favorite is the hobo skillet and Belgium waffle. Always recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to go for breakfast!

Their menu looks interesting, which is a shame, because their service is garbage.We wanted to try them out this Thursday morning, so we headed over for breakfast. The place was not very busy, which makes sense for a Thursday morning.Our family includes my elderly mother who has very obvious mobility issues. While we were still helping her to get settled, the waitress popped up and immediately demanded our drink order.Like, lady, we aren't even looking at the menu. We are taking off our coats. Why are you in such a rush?When I said, "We are clearly not ready yet," she responded with a very rude tone.So we left.Terrible service. Do not recommend.

Had an awesome breakfast here today. Huevos Rancheros with chorizo sausage. I'm breakfast lover and a huevos snob and this is now in my top three! Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

Today I took a friend to Molly Browns Portage Lakes Dr in Akron. I swore he would live the food! He never went there before. I had. But this time there was a difference, the lady who took the order, delivered the meals to table, did not ask if we needed anything. She didnt ask how everything was and she never once smiled. Her face was hard and words quick and done. I got my own box to go. Left a $5 tip from me. Went to pay in cash and this young girl snatched the bill out of my hand ,no apology, and asked if my client wanted to leave a tip on his Visa gift card. I said "No" without a smile and just as efficiently as they were. I paid cash for mine and she tossed the change into my palm without a thankyou, come again, have a nice day- nothing. I waited til she met my eyes and i looked at her the way your mother looks at a child who was rude to her auntie. I shook my head and walked out. There was no one to viice complaints to. The menu said press 2 for manager-- " voice mail full" click. I wont go to Molly Browns in Akron again. Good job losing customers. Must be they're closing so they dont care how customers feel. Used to be nice place last few years. No meal is worth that rudeness.

A breakfast spot with a large menu near Portage Lakes. I'm always hesitant when I see a place with such a large menu but I thought I would give it a shot. Service was slow for food but the waitstaff was responsive. We had the corned beef hash, French toast, cinnamon roll French toast, and the biscuits and gravy. No clear winner from the lot but the biscuits and gravy was sub-par. Almost no sausage and the gravy was very gluey and over-peppered. My hesitancy with the large menu was correct as the rest of the food did not hit the spot. Was excited to try this place but probably won't go back.

This is a cute little diner in a small strip mall. We arrived for lunch and got to choose our own seat. There were 4 of us and the booth was a little small as we forget how the kids have grown. Our server took our drink orders quickly and returned for our food order. One child got the children's chicken strips and fries and the other got the adult portion of country fried chicken. My husband got the senior pancakes and sausage and I got the pastrami on rye. The chicken strips were a hit, as were the fries. The country fried chicken was large with lots of gravy and mashed potatoes. He isn't a vegetable kid, but there were loads of mixed vegetables on his plate. He thoroughly enjoyed it. My husbands' senior portion was also large. The pancakes were good as was the sausage. Then came my pastrami. It was so tough and chewy and actually pretty scant. I didn't like it at all as it was too hard to chew. The fries were good.Three out of four good meals isn't bad. Next time I would order something different and think I would have a better outcome.

First and last visit. Very tired and worn looking cafe with apathetic staff. When I arrived a little after 11 am, there was a group of 3 already eating, a group of 2 and a group of 4 waiting to order. 9 total people besides me. It took 30 minutes to get a turkey club sandwich and potato salad. The sandwich was made with really thick clumps of lettuce, which made it hard to eat but it tasted fine except for the half that tasted of onion and peppers, presumably someone else's meal prepared too close to mine. The potato salad was awful. It was full of pickles or relish and way too much mustard. One waitress, one cook, neither with a friendly bone in their body. I left a little after 12 noon, and only 2 more people had arrived. Obviously people know this is not the place to eat and stay away. I found this statement on the back of the menu off-putting so took a photo to add here.

Another one of these stupid Portage Lakes restaurants run by idiots that are too lazy to update their website. Website say they are open till 3, but I show up at 1 to find out they are closed. If you're too lazy to update your website, what else are you too lazy to pay attention to. Hard pass for me. Get your crap together

If I could this place a 0 star I would ,first let me say the staff is very rude,and they never smile,they have no manners ,we didn't feel welcome at all ,it was like a inconvenience for them to serve us,will never come back again

If I did not have to give a star I wouldn't. It's not the food, it is great, but the waitress was awful. We arrived at 12:50 and they close at 2:00 so that was not a problem, but she rolled her eyes when she saw the owner seat us, took forever for a drink order, asked us what we would like which we told her coffee and a water and coke, she then again looked at us and asked the same thing. She brought the drinks and left we sat for 20 minutes waiting on her to get our food order and it was not busy. Food took another 20 minutes or so then brought out by the owner who was friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage patties and my husband got the meat loaf dinner instead of the meatloaf sandwich he asked for. So finally when we were done the hostess did all the other work by getting refills and a box plus giving us our check. The waitress charged us for 2 coffees and for the dinner even though we said we ordered the sandwich. They took off the coffee and then turned around and charged it on my card anyhow! I did leave a cash tip, but seriously stop over charging. I will not go back.
