Mizu Japanese Sushi Restaurant

I came here before grocery shopping this weekend. My partner is not an Asian food person he hasn't really tried much so I got a few things to share:~Gyoza: pork dumplings (not fried)~Tonkatsu: breaded and deep fried pork cutlet. These were a big hit for him they were very good. The tonkatsu was very crispy good quality meat.~Philadelphia roll, he liked this is good for a sushi newbie. To me there was a bit too much cream cheese but that's a preference.~Spicy Salmon. I mostly ate this and it was not spicy at all you'll have to use the wasabi. ~Green Dragon roll: very good but I didn't really taste the eel.The service was good everyone was very polite. Small clean restaurant.

Mediocre service but we're here for the food so there's that. Sushi is good. Affordable. Nothing special but would come back. I'd like to come back during open or lunch time just to see if any difference in service or quality but it is OK. I would recommend Red Lantern over Mizu.

Stopped in early for a quick bite and was impressed. Everything was large and pretty delicious. We were kind of just passing by, so it came as a surprise it. It was the best sushi we had in Ohio. Creative choices of rolls, friendly staff, and quick service. Of course we were there when they first opened for dinner late in the afternoon, but if I lived in the area, this would be my go to place. The dressing on the avocado salad was made in-house and was really delicious. They wouldn't give out the recipe! They must've had 2 avocados on there. It was a lot!

First time here and it was delicious! I ended up getting carry out and go a variety of things to try. I got a Rock' N Roll, Butterfly Roll, Tokyo Roll, and a Sushi Deluxe. The sushi deluxe even came with a soup and salad. The rolls were massive and amazing! We will be back again!

don't come for the ambiance,come for the DELICIOUS SUSHI !!going to try & keep this review short; this place is so amazingly good, it may be better if less people find out...oops, i just made fun of the Ambiance; located between a convenience store, and a Subway, across the street from a Walmart, in a VERY modest room, you will find Highly Skilled Sushi artists, and an incredibly polite, warm and inviting staff, creating some of the tastiest, most creative, beautiful & delicious food in this areaDid i mention it's great for the family?I challenge you (i actually challenge myself regularly) , pick ANY sushi roll, with any combination of ingredients, pair it with a delicious hot sake, and see how you feel.I honestly think this place is a hidden Cleveland culinary gemDid i mention it's affordable? Did i mention it's FUN ? (paging through their home made picture "menu" , with their wild menu names is... fun!) Try the steamed dumplings Did i mention how large their rolls are ?Did i mention their great desserts? Forget about it ... eat truly fresh

The sushi was delicious and the customer service was superb! The atmosphere was very welcoming and nice.

This had become my favorite sushi spot in Cleveland, even though I am not living close at all. Not glamorous to look at from the outside, but the magic is inside. They have an extensive menu and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We already know the sushi is great, and you can't go wrong but I want to make a special mention of the crab ragoons. It's not that spicy even though it's advertised that way, but it's packed with crab. We don't see that often. Can't wait to come back and keep coming back!

One of my co-workers recommended Mizu so I tried it today for the first time. I kept it simple and ordered the combination fried rice for carryout and it was really good! I plan on returning and dining in to try the sushi. The worker who took my order over the phone/give me my order was cordial when I arrived.

My second time here and ready to say that this is my favorite sushi spot. Service is great, rolls were delicious. A total hidden gem.

The food was delicious and beautiful. The service was excellent. The ambiance is relaxing and tasteful.
