Mitchell's Ice Cream - Solon

The ice cream was so good! I loved the train they have and the sitting area for kids with drawing supplies. Both kept my toddler busy.Now, moving on to the ice cream! As a Columbus native, I was happy to try something unique to only Cleveland. The ice cream did not disappoint. The flavors were so good and the ice cream itself was so nice and creamy. I got the seasonal tiramisu, which was so good, they should make it available year round. I also got the caramel fudge brownie, which was my favorite because anything brownie is my favorite. The taster's duo was a good amount to try both after dinner and fairly priced. My son got a junior double chocolate chunk with sprinkles, which he loved.I hear they have a branch downtown, where you can actually watch the ice cream making process. Next time I am in Cleveland, I would love to see that and try some other fun flavors I saw like banana cream pie.

Not my fav location of the Mitchell's franchise. This place is clean, nice building, good location, park could be better. I base my reviews on the staff and the size of the ice cream scoops.

My favorite spot to take my nephew after school. He loved coloring and watching the toy train in the store while we eat big portion sized scoops of ice cream. The pistachio is my personal favorite.It's always very clean inside to sit and enjoy. And the service is always great, never had a problem.

My companion ordered a Mango Sorbet on a Sugar Cone, and I had the Lemon Black Berry Yogurt, which was delicious. This is one of my absolute favorite places to enjoy a cold, creamy dessert. I noticed they changed their menu a wee bit, and I will have to go back and try a few more of their summer flavors.

Mitchell's ice cream is without a doubt a Cleveland fan favorite! My family has been coming to Mitchell's for as long as I can remember and now it's time I share how wonderful it is on Yelp! Mitchell's always has delicious and fun ice cream flavors and incorporates local ingredients as much as possible! The Solon location is one I used to come to frequently growing up and it is really lovely - the inside was remodeled in recent years so it has a nice seating area for little kids with coloring paper and crayons but also has a modern and warm ambiance overall! The service is always super friendly no matter which location you go to!

On an August evening around 8:30 p.m. the line was long the entire time we were there. Tried the banana cream pie. Was similar to the key lime pie. Both have crumbs like a Graham cracker pie crust. Delicious. Freezers have quarts of ice cream and toppings to go. Friendly and clean. Handicap accessible. Two unisex restrooms.

It's Mitchell's, what more do you really need to say? They are a staple in the metro Cleveland area, they've got great (local) ingredients, have wonderful dairy-free options, the train is cool to look at, and its known for being a first job for many local teens. Cool hangout spot (no pun...) during the summer.

Hands down best ice cream in Cleveland! So many flavors and they all taste amazing. All of the seasonal flavors are great too

9:06 pm (approximately) December 14 2023I was hoping to have a nice relaxing evening getting ice cream after church with some buddies, when I walked up to the counter to order a nice scoop of ice cream, I was approached with the RUDEST customer service I have ever received. Not only did she give me HALF scoop when I ordered a full one, I saw a gnats gathering in the ice cream bin. All the girls, specifically the one with the braid gave me a sarcastic and demeaning tone. She mocked my language and tone and genuinely gave me a horrible experience.
