Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream - Westlake

I myself had never been here but my family has. Today was my nieces bday and she requested Mitchell's in leu of cake. They had quite a few flavors to choose from as well as quite a few choices of cone and or sundaes. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and they had more than enough employees to get each of our group of 8 ice creams together relatively fast. The ice cream is amazing. I see what all the hype is. It's super creamy and very rich. They have ample seating and it's a super cute ice cream place. I will definitely be back and would recommend.

It's difficult for me to upgrade my review--- only because I was a staunch anti-Mitchell's detractor. As you can see form my previous review, I just never got the hype. I still stand by my point that their chocolate ice cream is NOT GOOD! And that includes any of the chocolate based flavors. However, all this to say that I found a few fan favorites in the chocolate chip cookie dough and the caramel fudge brownie. I have gotten those a few times and ask for extra Carmel sauce on top. The Carmel sauce here at Mitchell's is truly the best I've ever had. Definitely try it---- it's a game changer!As much as I advocated for Malley's over Mitchell's, you will now find me favoring Mitchell's slightly more when I return home to Ohio (unfortunately for Malley's they were bought out and service is now terrible and they only serve ice cream during the summer). So as much as the former version of myself cannot stand to admit it... I am a Mitchell's fan. However, they will never be 5 stars for me because their chocolate ice cream just isn't good (which makes me sad because I love chocolate ice cream!) For the best chocolate ice cream in CLE, check out Graeter's. Otherwise, Mitchell's is a solid option in the CLE ice cream scene.

This place smells amazing. Yummy. Staff is super courteous. I mean... it's Mitchell's. You can't go wrong ‍

My favorite Ice cream place. The blueberry ice cream is my favorite and the blueberry with lemon is very good also. Their restaurant is always neat and clean. The manager does a wonderful job. I'll be back soon.

Has a few locations around Cleveland. It has great products at each one. Mitchell's has a location in Westlake. Lots of flavors. They have a few non dairy ones too. Bad thing is that it's kind of expensive. It uses high quality ingredients. This is seriously some of the best around this area so of course it's more expensive than other places. It's $3.95 for a scoop. The double scoop is $5.75 or so. It does give you a lot. These are pretty big scoops. It has a few non dairy flavors. There's chocolate, and there's salted caramel which taste good together. It tastes so rich so you know it's very fattening. This is seriously good stuff. It has about the same menu as the other locations. Maybe it has a few differences between each other. The ice cream will be good at any one of these.

This was our first time visiting. Ice cream was delicious. They had vegan ice cream for my wife and it was also delicious. Ambiance was clean and inviting. Staff were super friendly and service was fantastic. Prices were very fair. We will definitely be back!

We had incredible service! We went on a busy friday evening and the line went fast! Everything was made correctly and was delicious! I was impressed with the amount of ice cream served at that price! Looking forward to going again.
