Ice cream is like an addiction for me. And Mitchell's makes the best. It is so difficult for me to choose what to get, so I usually end up getting a bunch of different flavors to go. I'm obsessed with their turtle sundae, and I love how they have rotating seasonal flavors... amaretto cookie, strawberry jalapeño, and caramel apple are some seasonal favorites. Their vegan ice creams are fantastic too. There's usually a decent line but the employees are efficient and really friendly. If you've never been to Mitchell's (well even if you have), they offer samples of flavors to aid in the decision making process. They also sell pints, quarts, cakes, and merch. Stores are always clean. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to this location in quite a while. We were in the area to hear a band play. The performance was canceled and we were bummed and decided to drown our sorrow in ice cream. The turtle sundae is a hit anytime I get it. The staff were kind, per usual. The cashier gave my son a sticker, which is pretty much like giving him money. He was overjoyed and even gave me a matching one. We proudly wore them the rest of the day.

A very cute little local ice cream shop by the mall. My love for Mitchell's ice cream started when I first visited their flagship location years ago.This location is very cute and clean inside.They offer variety of fun flavors here. From vegan friendly option to no-sugar added flavor options.I love that their ice cream is very rich and full of flavor. I recommend trying the Mike & Pete's favorite menu items. There was a line out the door and now I understand why. Staff does a great job of keeping the line moving and is very patient with questions about all of the various flavors. On the day we visited they had about 30 flavor choices. They have something for everyone here - vegan, yogurt, featured special flavors, and all the classics. The ice cream is really creamy and not too sweet. They are very generous with the hot fudge on the sundaes!

While I was visiting Cleveland, this place was recommended for a sweet treat! The store was jammed pack on a Tuesday evening which I was surprised about. A great local ice cream chain! I visited here on the solar eclipse day and while the line was out the door, it moved quickly. I had been here before and got the chocolate peanut butter cup, which I found underwhelming. This time, I got the peanut butter fudge sundae with caramel fudge brownie ice cream. The sundae was reasonably priced ($7) with a good portion size, and it was delicious. The peanut butter and hot fudge were delicious, and the ice cream was rich and creamy, with plenty of hearty fudge chunks. I highly recommend Mitchell's if you are looking for good, local ice cream in Cleveland!
