Mister T's Wonderfreeze

Mr. T's is clearly under new ownership/ management and I'm not mad at that! Visited with my two kiddos (5 and 4) probably within the first week of the season. The storefront has gotten a refresh, which I think looks really nice. There are new picnic tables and umbrellas. The windows have been decluttered and there's a new menu that pretty much has all of things from the previous menu. The ladies taking our orders couldn't have been kinder. My son is a picky eater and wanted blue colored ice cream and the workers offered to try to make the sprinkles more blue than mixed. I appreciated them going the extra mile to do something fairly tedious. Prices may have gone up, but not overly so and, honestly, is that a surprise these days? I think they are in line with other ice cream shops in the area. The other major change is that they are no longer cash only! Can't wait to visit again over the summer.

I absolutely LOVE Mister T's. I have been coming here for years and have introduced their ice cream to family and friends. They have so many ice cream along with food options and all is so good. The service is FANTASTIC, the workers are efficient and friendly. The building is a cute, walk up ice cream place. You can never go wrong with Mister T's!! Highly recommend stopping by.

Can't really give a review because they were closed. Arrived at 830pm tonight but they were closed and already cleaning up. Probably won't get to try again.

Cute roadside shack. One girl working for multiple customers. "Ice cream" was standard ice cream machine soft serve. Honestly wouldn't stop again but wasn't bad

OMG, I don't know how the ice cream here is always wonderful. The service is great and the ice cream is amazing. I have been patronizing this place for almost 10 years with no complaints. It is a fun and family friendly location. Stop up. You will love it.

First and only visit so far. I have wanted to try and visit this place for a long time since I pass it on my way to and from work. It finally opened for the season and I stopped in on a semi warm day. This is a small ice cream style hut/house that you walk up to with outdoor tables. It is not meant for looks, its meant for ice cream. Could the building use some updating? sure, but who cares....gimme ice cream! They had a lot of options displayed in the windows for items and reasonable prices! it did remind me of Fantasy Delight in Aurora but the staff was much nicer here! The woman helped me and offered me suggestions as it was my first time. She was conversational and sweet, someone arrived while I was there and seemed like a previous employee. She greeted her warmly and invited her to come in the store. It was a nice interaction and I would love to work for that lady! I went with a medium twist soft serve in a cup with krunch coat. It was a great size, price, and quality! She was even detailed enough to let me know that she put krunch in the bottom too (that's appreciated lol) nothing worse than running out of krunch halfway through. The krunch coat wasn't so hard that it broke your teeth like some DQ stops. I will definitely be back to try different items throughout the season. DON'T FORGET YOUR CASH! Cash only!

Awesome little ice cream stand! We tried the hard ice cream, and it's worth the stop. Mint chocolate chip, Black raspberry truffle, and amaretto cherry are all thumbs up. We will be back when the weather warms up!

The only place I go for ice cream PERIOD!!!!! They are so kind and the ice cream is amazing.

Ice cream is amazing but why do you often close before the scheduled time? Tried to go around 7:30pm today and place was dark. 3 other cars pulled in when I did so I know it's not due to lack of business. Plus, today was one of the hottest days. You think you would be open till close on a super hot day.

I pity the fool that doesn't get his chill on at Mister T's. I finally found my hookup for slushies in the Northfield/ Macedonia area!!!
