$7.95 brisket sandwich with what I think they called dragon sauce. Fantastic. Still thinking about it.

Boneless Ribeye from Mister Brisket. Seasoned and awaiting the fire.
Not much to look at inside or out. But it's about what's being served that counts...

The best sandwich in Cleveland - worth traveling for. I had the Mr. Brisket sandwich - which was like a bone marrow sandwich, like pure beef butter. Not sure I even understand what, why or how it could be that good. It doesn't make sense that this place is here, and that I have lived 16 years within 2 miles yet never tried or heard about it. This place is special.

I dream of Mr. Brisket's Reuben. Juicy and tender corned beef piled high, gooey cheese and tangy sauerkraut. Having moved away from CLE I have been searching for a sandwich that would rival theirs. I still haven't found what I'm looking for in KC!This is a barebones spot- grab your sandwich and go. Though there is seating it is minimal. There are also chips and drinks to go with your sandwich. Service is efficient and informative. They were out of kraut for my Reuben but could sub in coleslaw which was just as delicious.

Incredible small business with homey vibes. As soon as you walk in the door, you're hit with a strong, mouthwatering scent of marinating meat. Mister brisket offers fresh cuts of meat as well as sandwiches. The sandwiches are packed with a hearty portion of fresh meat. I loved the garlic Mayo they used in the wagyu cheesesteak. Both sandwiches were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Was visiting a old buddy in Shaker Heights and needed to get my 2 day fix of Mr. Brisket's food. That means more then Brisket, I grew up in NYC and can't buy anything sold like this where I live. There's 1 Kosher deli with mini market about 2 hours away. A 1/4lb Pastrami sandwich there is 30 bucks and skimpy. I also bought a whole large smoked Brisket and put it on dry ice and shipped it to my house using next day delivery. Plus, I put in a order for a large Corned Beef w/cabbage and potatoes and my friend in Shaker will pick it up and send it. The food was excellent to say the least. I usually buy from Ben's Kosher Deli in NYC with 6 locations but I decided I like Mr. Brisket's food more. I've known Ben for 60 years and he takes special care of my family. But, try Mr. Brisket's food and you'll give up old loyalties too. I'll post a picture, after my food arrives! I did ship it to come tomorrow but who knows? Thx.

First off, I am not much of a meat eater and naïvely thought Mister Brisket only sold...brisket. Went past it for years. Based on word of mouth, I stopped in a month ago and have been back every week since. Love the vibe. Small independent owned. The owner personally knows lots of customers. Feels like a gathering of friends. Love the products. I only eat chicken and turkey once or twice a week. I buy beef for my husband and guests. I appreciate being able to call ahead or order online. I can make reasonable requests like having meats cut a certain way and my order is always handled promptly and with care. I also appreciate the way they wrap the meat. It stays unharmed in my freezer until I need it. Since I have been getting our meat there every two weeks, I am been cooking more often and enjoying it.

I was very disappointed in the size of the BBQ brisket sandwich when I was charged $12 for it.It came on a 4" X 4" soft pretzel bun, but it did have a decent amount of meat on it for the size of the bun.For $12 it should have been twice the size.

Got the Reuben. One of the best I've had and I've had them all across the US. Owner has a heart of gold. Gave me a dinner for free for my wife when he found out she was in surgery. Humble for being one of the best brisket spots you'll ever go to!

Delicious and tender! The meat was good but I was expecting a little more for $27. I would go back and try other items.

Small take out place last time I was there. Whenever I visit my hometown of Cleveland (I'm in SC now) I always-always stop here for corned beef or pastrami. After I return from CLE, I have to hold off getting corned beef for a while, to allow my taste buds a chance to kinda forget just how good it's supposed to be. Southerners do many things well, but their corned beef/pastrami usually tastes like lunch meat to me. I took my brother there, because he frequently lamented not getting pastrami as good as he could get in southern California. He not only quit his chauvinistic whining, but complimented the owner on the superiority of his sandwich.
