Miro's Meat Market

Love their ćevapčići and Slovenian smoked kolbasi. They were willing to make a custom order for us for a nonprofit event we were hosting and everything was perfect! Inside the shop they have a typical butchers case with a ton of selections as well as an awesome array of Croatian grocery items and snacks. Including imported Fanta which just hits differently :) Find all your Croatian favorites - vegeta, vanillin šećer, pašteta etc. Extremely friendly staff and owner. Definitely worth a visit!!! They also spit roast whole animals on the weekends. Check them out!

Amazing place fresh meat I no longer buy meat at the grocery stores. Amazing smoked bacon and sausages as well. Service is always on point

Miro's! Got cevapi and Slovenian sausages today and I was so lucky to get here before a crowd came shuffling in, moms with their kids and people dressed like they came straight from work. Miro is a really nice guy, and he runs this authentic croatian specialty butcher shop as a one man show. I appreciated his help today, as I am preparing for a cookout this Sunday. He gave good tips on cooking methods and is always very warm towards his customers. He has photos of his family/kids on the wall, you can classify this as a mom and pop. A man that came in after me and exclaimed, "Hey Miro!" I think that's how I should make my entrance next time :)

Yes, yes and absolutely more yes!!!!!! Mirro actually works the front desk the actual owner is there he can pre-order the lamb which is a rarity can't even get that at Rudy's very nice man and his son comes in and helps on the weekends it is a family establishment I would highly highly highly recommend coming by and saying hello good food the sausage this is coming from someone who grew up on sausage is then typically one of a kind I will seriously use that sausage for anything I make perfect perfection come on down and get some of the best food you can find in the Willowick area!!

Closed...Apparently this location is closed for business. Drove an hour based on reviews and when we got here the doors are locked. The phone said to leave a message so we assumed they were still in business.

This place is a good old school butcher shop. Miro makes and smokes his sausages, which are awesome! He will custom cut your meat, whether beef,lamb, or pork which is all from local farms. His prices are very competitive. Check him out!

I love Miro's store! He is always so friendly and has a nice variety of European foods. His sausages are good. We have tried several and they are always tasty. We enjoy the slovenian sausage and also the smokies and other things. We have had other meats there and they always seem to be good quality. When I have friends from the former Yugoslavia in town we go there and they always get a lot of different things and that chocolate with the puffed rice in it and the spongy banana candy. Great place, and unique. That's a why I'm givin it 5 stars.

Great Croatian butcher shop and small grocery! Miro has a great selection of fresh meats, smoked sausages and other canned and dry goods from the old country. Also, a nice selection of European chocolate. The best thing we bought was some egg pasta freshly made by a Croatian lady nearby. Miro was very friendly, and his store is very welcoming. I was looking to buy some strip sirloin steaks to grill and this was my first time here. I was disappointed that they did not have any meat on display. I did not see any prices posted either. They cut me two steaks and I grilled them that night. I was disappointed in the flavor and texture/ dryness of the steaks. I will not be back.

Wow yes yes yes , this was a experience coming in and order 1 steak and the best i ever had, and i had a life time of some of the best meat anywhere, the smoked meat was done perfectly perfect amount of smoke and being able to taste the meat itself ooohhhh.See you next week and every week there after, Thank you for your gift of supplying the best.
