Mike N' Dangelo's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

This is our go to pizza joint - it's the best in west county, especially if you like a thinner, fresh dough crust. Nothing fancy here - just plain, simple, tasty pizza with a good sauce that's not too heavy. I especially love the homemade, huge, fresh chicken fingers. They are addictive and unlike what you find at other pizza joints. Do yourself a favor and order online for pickup! I always appreciate when local businesses offer this handy feature!

I don't want to bash a small business because we're in a really rough time in the world right now but the way I was treated at Mike N' Dangelo's was horrible. I've never had a complaint and still to this day I will say they have really good food and I appreciate their staff coming in and working.As for my experience today, I've only ever had one issue with Mike's before and they replaced a pizza that they were already iffy about sending out in winter 2020 and throughout the years and years I've always received amazing food and service. I try my best always if I don't like an item I receive to just deal with it but today was a big deal, my mom had surgery in her mouth and she is unable to eat anything hard so we ordered a fresh dough pizza like we always get because we knew it was soft and she would be able to eat it. I get home with the pizza that is cut into 12 slices and my friend eats 2, my two year old eats 1 and my mother eats the toppings off of another because she cannot chew it. I refreshed myself on the return policy before I called and I asked her if I could have the pizza remade if I brought it back and she said as long as I have 3/4 of the pizza, at that point I had a little more than half which was 8/12 slices left. I told her I'd like to bring it back and instead of a refund if she could make a new one that was softer it would be awesome. I get to the building and ask her about the policy after agreeing to receive a medium pizza which is 4 slices and she said for 26 years they have required to have 3/4 of an item to replace it. I told her I work in the service industry and I understand how it is and I felt horrible saying something in the first place but it isn't fair that I paid $14.50 for something my mother cannot physically eat and something I knew wasn't good. I don't want to deter anyone from ordering from mikes but I want everyone to be aware that their return policy is unstated and incorrect. She told me that they do not have to state anything anywhere and the website doesn't matter. Please be weary before you order, it's a rough time for everyone. Small businesses and people themselves. I have photos and videos of the food I received and of my interaction with the manager. She told me she was not going to talk to me any longer because she told me she has to cater to a wedding and cannot say anything else and if I have an issue I can call the owner tuesday who was going to tell me the same thing. Please be careful ordering from them, I'm out $14 bucks and now I have to spend my time ordering somewhere else. Also thanks lady for insisting that I needed to bring it all back including the half eaten piece my little two year old was eating that I know you heard bust out crying. Thanks for making my day horrible, I've been going here for yeaaarrrrssss and this was absolutely my last day any of my friends or family will go to this establishment. Go somewhere else, drive a little further to go to Teresa's.

Let's just say this place is not somewhere I would recommend for a "real meal" or even fried apps. Today we ordered a bunch of starters for a group of us at a local event near by. Pizza logs, jalapeño poppers, cheese wedges, mushrooms, and potato skins. The two stars are for the potato skins and jalapeño poppers- which were pretty good- potato skins were better then anything...the rest not so great. Mush and inedible. Forgot our marinara sauce as well. Not impressed.

OMG. What's not good from here. Always satisfied Antipasto and the pizza logs are my favs. Pizza and calzones are good too. Looking forward to the subs and a good Italian dinner.

Don't listen to the Naysayers! Mike N' Dangelos is the best Italian cuisine we have had! My wife had the Parmesan Chicken and I ordered the stuffed shells. We also ordered the pizza balls for the appetizer. I might add, this review comes with a disclaimer - we didn't eat dinner at the restaurant, we ordered out. So I can't speak on the service.That being said, the food was amazing.

I would have given them 0 stars if possible. First red flag was the guy taking the order who sounded like he was definitely High on something. Took 10 minutes to order 3 sandwiches. Kept having to repeat ourselves over and over. Second red flag is that when I drove the 25 mins to get there on an order that I was told would be ready in 15min I still had to wait another 20 minutes and correct them again on what we ordered. Third red flag was the over all rudeness of the staff upon entering the place. I'm not saying the customer is always right however you say you've been in business 20 plus years then you should understand customer service..... Definitely a lack of in this establishment. Fourth red flag is when I finally got our food and made it back it was completely wrong. Openes the foot long sub and it was two completely different subs. Not what was ordered and the other two subs again we're not what was ordered. So we called to see what could be done. I got hung up on twice then told td to drive back to the place to return the subs they acted like I was lying to them about this. I offered to send pics of what we received and throwing them away so they knew we were not trying to get free food . However they insisted that I bring the food back inorder to receive a refund or new food. This place is 25 mins away It was late and with hungry children this was just not possible. Needless to say we will never be back and I'll make sure everyone I know hears this story. Please save your money for another place. You will regret eating here.....

This restaurant has ridiculously bad service. My husband has ordered from this restaurant 2x, paid, and had the place be completely closed. Tonight, we called to confirm they were open, ordered online, and employees told my husband that the online system was down and we had to pay twice and dispute with our card. The system ended turning back on after a wait and we only had to pay once. Seems like owner has poorly trained their staff. Hours not as advertised. Bad service.

Excellent customer service and nothing beats their chicken tenders! Sometimes it's slightly chaotic, but that's because they're a pretty busy place.

I have never been this disappointed in a restaurant. We used to live in the area (19 years ago) and ate here all the time and it was great. Something bad happened and the food is absolute slop. We came back for a visit and decided to go to an old favorite place and were HORRIBLY disappointed in the food, it was all bad and the service was awful. Don't eat here if you want a decent meal. The pizza was awful and the wings appear to have been boiled. Our onion rings and zucchini strips were cold

Most disrespectful price for what you get that I have experienced in a long time. Ordered "9" boneless wings and got 7 tiny pieces of chicken and two chunks of breading for over $10. Called to ask about why they would do such a thing and the employee said "yeah they portion the boneless wings as much as they can."
