Mick & Shirley's Catering and Cafe

Ordered the pull pork sandwich, which included fries, and added a side of their cheesy pasta which was described as 'like mac & cheese, but better'. Pull pork came out in a slider bun, which was disappointing. Mac & cheese was not evenly cooked; it was cold. This tiny meal took over 30 minutes to arrive. I also look for places that care about our environment and this place fails in that category as well. Everything is served with plastic - plates, utensils, and even cups.

The French toast was amazing! Took a little time to get our order but they were hospitable during our wait!

If my husband and I could leave zero stars at this "restaurant" we would. Terrible service from the so called waitress. We literally waited an hour and in an empty restaurant and our food never showed up. When the waitress came to ask us if we needed anything else I asked her is our food going to be here soon she just looked at me and said no, smirked and walked away. My husband and I sat there for maybe another 10 minutes in an empty restaurant the staff were nowhere to be seen and we just left I have never in my life been an establishment with this bad of service and I don't know how the hell they have such good reviews as we will never be coming back here again.

Killer lunch today. Ribs with KYB (ask Chuck, he'll tell you) sauce, greens, and fries. Oh, and cornbread. Add a soda - little more than $12. The place was packed at lunch on a Thursday, which u took as a good sign. Ribs were tender, meaty, and perfectly sauced, breaded and seasoned fries, amazing greens. And the table near me had ordered French toast and couldn't stop raving about how good it was. I'll definitely be back.

My favorite place to eat in Akron, Chuck is an amazing chef and knows exactly how to make what's really, really good. Love the chicken wings, greens, hashbrowns, fish and turkey burger sliders I had today. Top notch eats, I highly recommend "Mick and Shirley's" for your next breakfast, lunch or dinner!

I like the way they cook their ribs. I prefer ribs without sauce and their ribs are good enough to eat without anything on them. The portion size was ik too.

Very limited menu, small portions, served on styrofoam and /or paper plates and plastic cups/silverware. Service was good as we were the only customers there at a time they should have been busy. The place was clean but cold. The food was mediocre at best and appeared to be just warmed in the microwave and way over price for what you get. Will not go back.

Oh man need to be put on the map! The seasoning are just right better than these talked up chicken spots.. definitely can back up what they put on a plate and the French toast !!!! Bette than what you'd find at walley waffle, Cracker Barrel, or even iHop. No. Body. Can compare. -A person that takes food very serious.

Great Food and service. Everything was lovely I will definitely be back. Looks like a great place to bring people when they come from out of town. I just wish they were open on Sundays.

Good was so good I had chicken and French toast and grits. Only thing the management that takes orders and money is a lil slow and confused they need to hire better workers but I loved the food. Building a lil run down and the inside needs work but not bad
