This restaurant was suggested by a coworker while we are in town for training. We have eaten here two days in a row. Yesterday, I chose a flatbread special and today, the Monte Cristo. They have a huge menu consisting of sandwiches, wraps, subs, salads, and flatbreads, along with desserts and chips. We're always promptly greeted and have received very polite and friendly service. The restaurant is very clean and has stylish decor. If you're in the area, please check it out. I doubt you'll regret it.

I've always heard of Michael's from coworkers and have had their sandwiches and salad for catered lunches meetings, but have not had the chance to stop by their physical location until a couple Sundays ago. Driving by, they had a sign out front for St Patty's Day lunch so I decided to grab some food there. Michael's menu offers so many options, from the simple dishes of soup and sandwiches to full-sized meals. Everyone who worked behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming, they made you feel as though you are family! Since it was St Patrick's Day, I could not turn down their Corn Beef Ruben special with a pickle and potato salad on the side. The corn beef sandwich was perfectly dressed with thousand island dressing topped with a bit of sauerkraut, just the perfect combo. Although the corn beef was a bit saltier than I would like, it was well worth the extra salt. The potato salad was what really blew me away!! I am normally not a potato salad fan, but let me tell you.. this potato salad was like no other! First off, all ingredients were whole and you can tell it was fresh. The dressing and flavors mixed like one big happy family! I cannot wait to come back to Michael's for lunch and sit down to enjoy my meal there!

Why did I give this homey family owned spot only 4 stars in my last review? That must have been a mistake. In what one could consider a dead zone of yummy local food, Michael's consistently serves up delicious, fresh and consistent sandwiches.It's weird, I'm never the type of person who craves a sandwich, but when I do, it's most certainly Michael's. My favorite is the summer turkey, which is made with the most delicious in-house special sauce. Sometimes I'll get a little crazy (lol), and order the monte cristo, which has a delicious tomato flavor to it (yes, tomato). I've never had a bad bite of anything here.Overall, you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches here. Any of them will be made to perfection with unique flavors. I love giving my support to this local, family-owned business who will constantly check on you to make sure you're happy with your meal!
