Michael's Bakeshop

Stopped by this week and left with a pumpkin cinnamon roll, Oreo m&m cookie and pumpkin cookie! All were delicious, but will have to return for their classic cinnamon roll, which they were already sold out of by 10am on a Friday so they must be in high demand!

We had an excellent experience with prompt, friendly service and walked away with three different delicious confections. We will be back...soon!

I have eaten the cinnamon rolls. They are the best I have ever eaten. First, they are large and you can share with another person. Secondly they are full of cinnamon and delicious icing. I also purchased the everything white bread. It is sliced perfectly for sandwiches. I will definitely be back to purchase the cinnamon bread. Go early because the bakery sells out.

OMG!! If you haven't been there - drop what you're doing and go right away, you won't be disappointed. The cinnamon rolls are my favorite - the best I have ever had, and I have had many in my lifetime! Breads are great and the cookies and brownies are as well. I don't think there is anything that is "meh" or bad!!! I cannot wait to see what they do to expand into the next door space. Just go, you'll thank me later.

I wish I could take a picture of the smell of Michael's Bakeshop. Right from the second you walk in, you're greeted with a light, sweet, pleasant smell that transports you to a nostalgic time. I have eaten the cheddar jalepeño bread, some other loaves, and of course the famous-to-me cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was so soft, generously iced-up, and kept incredibly well in the packaging they provide. I grabbed a fork and my taste buds shot to the moon. I wish I could give this place an extra five stars! You're likely to be served by theee Michael himself, which is such a treat. No matter who's at the counter, though, the food speaks for itself. Places like this are what make DTW awesome! I can't wait to come back in 20 years and say I was there when it first opened :)

I would fly back to Ohio just to order their cinnamon rolls... I was in town from California & I stumbled upon this bakery. I was looking more for a little shop to order something small then sit and chat with a friend. Instead, it's a shop where you see what's available on shelf & order, then go. Upon entering, you're greeted by welcoming service and offered to answer any questions we may have. They open at 8 am & there is no listed closing hour as they close when they're sold out. I ordered the last cinnamon roll and it was the best decision I have made during the trip. When I got back to where I was staying, I microwaved it for thirty seconds & I was able to experience the most delicious, buttery, moist, sweet (but not too sweet), cinnamon roll. Nothing can compare. To top it off, one was only $4. I only wish I had ordered more to take home with me. I would have bought another suitcase just to fill it up with only cinnamon rolls. Typing this review and reminiscing the cinnamon roll only makes me sad that I'm 2,000+ miles away. Until next time!

I was visiting family last weekend and stopped in here on Saturday morning. I could smell the cinnamon as soon as I got out of the car. The shop opens at 8 but there were people standing outside at 7:45. The shop is adorable and so colorful! They don't have seating but I was happy to grab a fork and sit outside and people watch. They don't just sell cinnamon rolls, they also offer Nutella Crumble Buns, Mixed Berry Crumble Buns and a jalapeño cheddar bread that is to die for! They sell out fast so get there early!!

The crumble buns are divine, the store is beautiful, and Michael and his team are adorable. Can't wait to try the bread next. So happy to have this wonderful addition in Downtown Willoughby.
