Great family owned grocery store, convenient when you want to get in and out. The 50's music they play rivals the Shop n Save chain in suburban Philadelphia. The homemade macaroni salad is to die for.

Nice little grocery store, tucked away in a strip mall. I wasn't expecting much based on the outside (bit old, bit dated) but the produce was fresh and the selection was way better than I thought. Prices are reasonable, will stop here again!

I love being so close to this place. They have the nicest staff, and they are always so helpful and personable. I feel like things are priced very fair here as well. It's super convenient and always a pleasure to stop in and get a couple groceries here.

Mentor family foods is price gouging!!! Just left that filthy establishment... they are charging $2.99 for a loaf of nickles white bread. Sickening!!! Marcs has it for .99 a loaf Boycotting mentor family foods!

I have been going to Mentor Family Foods since our family moved there 30 years ago. The staff & owners even say hello when they see you. The times they did not have what I wanted, they ordered it for me! They take special meat orders and I have found their meat to be the best. Their prices are competitive and I can get in and out in reasonable time. They notice when I'm not there for several days (like vacation). I love the personal atmosphere. They might not have all the departments like GE but they more than make up for it.

Just stopped in to grab a handful of items, and had fortune to run across an amazing employee named Chris. He went out of his way to make sure I got all the items before the store closed. Chris made me feel special and took the time to help me out. I am so appreciative of all the kindness he showed me. Don't know what the qualifications are for employment there but they have the friendliness staff of any establishment I've ever been in. Truly a neighborhood grocery, I recommend for all your shopping. One of the best grocery store ever with Best Employee!

This is the best secret in Lake County! Great produce, fresh and packaged very conveniently, very good meats of all varieties, really good tasting, quality meat. Excellent Amish poultry. Good dairy, and intriguing European delicacies. Personal service.

I am leaving one star because the workers there are nice except for the manager there! Horribly rude and has been rude and snippy at me and my mother multiple times. I have been coming here for 10 years and my mom has been going for as long as I can remember but I will never come here again! Absolutely awful.

Great local grocery store, excellent service and fair prices. Have never had an issue with any products from Mentor Family Foods, the butcher staff are very knowledgeable and approachable.

They usually have a great meat selection I don't think I ever got a bad piece of meat or bad tasting from them I really like their sausage
